Hotel was fine but service from night staff was terrible. Tried to get a drink in the bar with various people drinking to be told the man was too busy manning reception to serve drinks, in spite of no one being at reception. Terrible attitude from the lone staff member working the night. One staff member really let the place down. Will not be returning.

Holiday Inn Reggio Emilia - great choice

Perfect place to stop.over for Reggio Emilia just off the A1. Good facilities, excellent breakfast and the restaurant served good quality food. The bed was a little small for two but there was a pull out bed option. Reggio is a nice town to explore, it can be done in half a day. Try the regional sweet pumpkin ravioli pasta and cheese. Delicious
