"I love the place. That’s is a hidden gem. I would let the guy in the property stay there full time in case the guest need something. He was very helpful. In the lake house you could add some paintings or Japanese drawing to the wall to make it feel more cozy . Overall the experience was great and the birds and landscape are breathtaking. "Had a really bad experience with the service this weekend for some reason but I called for towels and the trash and nobody never came with no new towels or to pick up the trash for hours so I had to dump my own trash and take my dirty towels to get new ones myself."

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Vilma's home. Everything we needed for our time in the Keys and Everglades was available, including a well-stocked kitchen, beach towels, and bathroom supplies. All the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Vilma gave us some great tips on the best key lime pie and other area options. We also enjoyed the nearby community pool we walked to. "Everything about our stay was truly 5 stars. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The layout was perfect with 3 bedrooms — 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, and a room with 2 twin beds, which made it great for families or groups.The host was amazing, communication was easy, and the home felt very welcoming. I also loved how private and tucked away the location felt while still being close to stores, restaurants, and anything you may need.We enjoyed every bit of our stay and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!"

"What a lovely home! It was in a peaceful, secluded, beautiful location. I loved sitting on the patio under the huge sunshade drinking my morning coffee. There were tons of cool birds (Palm Warblers, Mockingbirds, Doves, hawks, and more). The fruit grove was really interesting for us city dwellers! Everything about the house was excellent: the comfy beds, the washer-dryer, the fruit left for us on the counter-top, the wifi, the bookshelves full of nature, local attractions, and environmental books. The kitchen was so well stocked. Wayne responded immediately to our questions.We did not realize that Homestead was an agricultural center. The fruit, orchid, banana, and houseplant nurseries were plentiful, and so friendly and accommodating. We stopped by several of them and they'd put us on a golf cart and give us free tours, answering all of our questions!Also, it is very convenient to go to the Everglades. We went down to Florida Bay and had a really fun and informative nature boat tour where we saw 4 crocodiles, 4 manatees, tricolored herons, pelicans, lots of Osprey, and much more! April is a great time to visit; not crazy hot, very few bugs (except on one hike in the Everglades).When we left we messaged Wayne and he immediately checked to make sure we didn't forget anything, and called to let us know I had left my phone charger. We had only gotten about 4 blocks away! So nice! We loved this VRBO!"

"The Home was Beautiful and the Grounds were well taken care of. The layout of the house was better than expected. Traveled with 2 teenagers, they were able to have their own rooms with Jack and Jill bathroom. Two of the other rooms also had a Jack and Jill bathroom, which worked well with myself, husband and adult son. The primary bedroom was very spacious with a garden soaking tub, large shower, and a toilet room. The fourth bathroom was perfect for when getting out of the heated salt pool. OMG, the pool was great for relaxing and playing around. The lanai was great for gathering and visiting. Both the Host and Property Manager were very friendly, helpful, and easy to contact with questions. We would stay there again!!!"
