"Hotel needs updating. We woke up in the middle of the night to find the outside door was ajar. No one seemed to be too happy at their job. We would not stay here again."

"My husband and I have two kids who live in KeyWest so when we visit them Homestead/Florida City is a halfway stop for us. We usually spend the night and tackle the drive to the Keys in the morning. This was the first time we stayed here. Three staff behind desk but took awhile for one of the two available to look up and help me. No special greeting or smiles, like they weren’t enjoying their jobs. Never mentioned the grab and go breakfast or where to find the WIFI password. Had to ask for directions to our building. Room was very clean but when trying to operate the TV (there was a small plaque showing the TV lineup) couldn’t get a channel. Kept saying something about the antenna hookup. Area around the motel was nice and felt like it was a safe area. Will definitely go back as long as the issue with the tv is resolved. "

"The pictures don’t do this house and yard justice. It is even more beautiful in person. Very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, they had plenty of towels for the bath or pool, and many throw blankets to make it cozy. There were a ton of places outside to sit or lay around and relax. The owners were great about communicating. I would 100% stay here again when we come back to the area. It’s close enough to the keys that we did day trips almost every day but also within an hour to Fort Lauderdale or Miami if that’s more your scene. We had door dash and grocery delivery which was great and had a lot of options without having to leave. Don’t hesitate to book this house!"

"Our room was a room for four people. It was clean and large and roomy. The problem was for people cannot sit on one chair. How come they don't consider having a place to sit down other than on the bed? We asked if we could have one or two more chairs and was told no they were all in use. I find it quite troublesome when you can't even sit down in your room. Other than that the room was okay."

"Overall, it was nice. Just a couple little things the back door to the pool would not stay shot, the light out in the pool, coffee pot in separate bedroom off the garage did not work and probably the most glaring thing was the location. Not in a really good neighborhood and a longer drive to the beach. "
