It was immaculate and in an ideal location for me. The room was lovely and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and approachable and the car is secure, Nothing to fault.

The owner was extremely attentive, even got some decaf coffee for our room. We were able to book into our room early which was very convenient. The room was very clean and even little touches like cotton buds and cotton wool in the bathroom didn’t go unnoticed. we were made welcome as soon as we arrived, the rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. the value for money was exceptional. free parking and a nice english breakfast included in the price.all in all fab stay

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb. We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. Ideally situated near to M6 motorway junction 42 and 43. Lovely country location. Clean and comfortable rooms (fan provided) good food and friendly staff. Beautiful mature gardens. Plenty of free on site parking,free Wi-Fi. Food and accommodation reasonably priced.

This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.

My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle. Everything about the place is great, the food, the beer, the location and car parking. Best of all are the staff, really friendly and helpful.
