Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disappointing maintenance and cleanliness lapses despite a good location. While this apartment benefits from a secure building and a very convenient location within walking distance of Rapallo's centre, the poor cleanliness and lack of maintenance severly impacted our stay. The indoor cleanliness was subpar: general dust and cobwebs were left on the ceiling and fans, and the provided tea towels were heavily stained, the dining chair covers had been intentionally turned inside out (leaving a label on the outside)to hide the dirt on the opposite side. The bathroom requires attention due to a rusty shower door, mould, and a rusted bin and dust. Furthermore, a wardrobe rail is installed so high that you have to climb onto a chair just to hang your clothes up. The outdoor spaces were completely neglected. The lower terrace was scruffy with a marked dirty patio table and parasol - no chairs outside. Worst, the roof terrace was entirely unusable - with a broken table and rusted broken sunbeds just scattered around. Potential guests should also note that the property sits on a busy road directly next to a supermarket. The early morning noise, particularly the loud banging of bins around 4am being emptied right outside the apartment, makes it difficult to sleep after that time. On a positive note, the floor tiles, fridge, oven, bed sheets, and bath towels were clean, both the AC and WIFI work well. However we paid 94 euros for a 'professional' clean!!
