"Hotel was clean and the room spacious, but I could not especially enjoy and relax, not sure why. I appreciated the coffee and thea in the room, the only amenities in the room
The personal was not friendly -also not unfriendly, just kind of neutral. But I like when they are more friendly than not."

The hotel and the surrounding area are great, picture perfect, tasty with a lot of activities. Hotel staff is a little forgetful, - for example when asked to organise a wine tour they never bothered, when I asked to book hotel restaurant for a birthday party they said they did but on the night it turned out they didn't bother again. Make sure you chase them properly.

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded.
The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference.
The room was larger than expecting, well furnished.
The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms.
The bed was a little firmer than I like but then everyone has different tastes.

Can't really fault this hotel. Reception staff and restaurant /breakfast staff were extremely kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English if you can't speak French as well. Stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor facing the main road. Although there was passing traffic you couldn't hear a thing due to the triple glazing. Our deluxe was spacious with a separate toilet from the bathroom. The bathroom itself had a separate shower as well as a bath. Breakfast was buffet style with a hot buffet as...

This is our second time staying here, can't be happier. Our 2nd time is just as good as the first time if it's not better. The room is perfectly decorated, small but charming. Fantastic location, very quiet but close to the city centre. Most importantly, the best thing about this hotel is that AMAZING staffs, all of them are very helpful, friendly and speak fluent English, this hotel must be very proud to find these amazing staffs and I hope they will maintain this level of service. Beautiful old building in the heart of old bordeaux. Large, comfortable room. Walking distance to all of the old town and riverfront. I will stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful staff. We arrived late on Monday evening and were able to get a seat at the rooftop bar to have a light dinner and drinks. The entrance to the hotel is dramatic, like something you'd see in an art gallery. The rooms are clean, smart and stylish, with great bathroom amenities and soundproofing. Beds were firm, which not everyone might enjoy, but we had comfortable and quiet nights' sleep. Would definitely return the next time I'm in Bordeaux.

The area around the Church of Saint-Pierre is particularly picturesque, with traditional stone houses and narrow lanes.
For couples looking for a relaxed break surrounded by the countryside, staying in the village centre is ideal. It allows for tranquil evenings and easy access to local amenities for provisions, while providing a central point for day trips to nearby vineyards and the Dordogne River.
Families might prefer the areas just on the outskirts of the village centre, where larger gîtes and holiday homes with gardens are more common. These properties often offer more space and privacy, which is great for children to play, while still being a short drive or a pleasant walk from the village's facilities.
When is the best time to go to Quinsac?
The best time to go to Quinsac is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.

You'll find the countryside in full bloom in spring or rich with harvest colours in autumn. It's also a time when the region is less busy than the peak summer months, meaning you can enjoy popular attractions and restaurants with a more relaxed feel.
For couples looking for a romantic getaway, these months are ideal. You can enjoy wine tastings at local châteaux, leisurely strolls through the picturesque landscapes, and al fresco dining without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by crowds.
