A great place in a beautiful location. We were there in winter on a couple of rainy days but we were able to get cosy by the fire and still enjoy the space. Loved being able to pop across the road for dinner. Comfortable beds, and we appreciated the good wine too. Jonny was a great host and helped with anything needed. Highly recommended for a Central Otago getaway outside the main bustle of Queenstown!
We had such a lovely time staying here, thank you so much! Beautiful views & property. The house was so cozy & warm. Very clean & had everything you needed & was well thought out & provided for. Lovely people & excellent communication at all times. We absolutely loved it & will definitely be back sometime! Thank you from our family!
Great property, loved the fire - weather was really cold so a huge benefit.
Great space, good layout and size plus nice indoor outdoor flow and amazing views. Comfortable beds and the fire was a bonus in cold weather. Would rate highly and I travel a lot.
A well appointed, lovely spot with a large section for children to play. Nice touches like a bottle of the hosts’ vineyard wine on arrival. Great views of the hills and with a cafe/bar literally next door and a winery restaurant across the road, it’s easy to postpone cooking for yourself for another day! Host v friendly and welcoming but gives you space too. 15 min drive into Arrowtown and 25 to q town. Thanks Johnny
This is a lovely getaway spot. It is private, with a neat little walk through the vineyards right outside the door. Nearby is another stroll down to a spectacular view over the nearby river. This a perfect place for getting away from it all, and yet close to everything this part of the world offers. Highly recommend!
I just love it in the Gibbston Valley - great location to head to Queenstown/ Arrowtown/ Cromwell and Wanaka. Beautiful property, friendly hosts who live next door … daily visits from their puppy - probably also influenced with my nephew cooking his bacon on the bbq each morning and “sharing”.

Great accommodatiin nestled in vineyard. Walking distance to other vineyards and eateries. Exactly what we were looking for.
Thankyou.
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is super clean, gorgeous and has the most stunning scenery. We also loved the location being a bit more rural yet there are many amazing places to eat close by. It was only short drive to Arrowtown and Queenstown too and easy driving with the breathtaking views along the way. One morning we were there it was only -6 degrees, yet the house was still very warm and cosy. We had everything we needed and highly recommend this property. Suzy and Johnny were also very lovely and we'll most definitely be back!
Great few days, perfect location to rest and unwind. Some good eating and drinking places in walking distance. Weather was cold but spectacular frost on the hills and vineyards. Will definitely return in the summer
Beautiful cottage at the back of a vineyard in the popular Gibbston. Great access to both Queenstown and Cromwell and loads to do on our doorstep. Fully equipped and lots of room to play for our family. Fully recommend.
We had a fantastic stay at Pagan Vines. It’s a beautiful setting in a great location. The accommodation itself is excellent: comfortable and stylish. We thoroughly enjoyed our evenings sitting out on the porch with the BBQ going and a glass of wine in hand. This is a stunning part of the country and this was a great base for trips to Arrowtown, Queenstown and Wanaka. Very friendly hosts also. We’d be more than happy to stay here again.

Made to feel very welcome by Johny. The house is tastefully furnished and nicely stocked with tea and coffee etc. Beautiful vistas and great location. Highly recommended.
Our 4 night stay at this accommodation was truly lovely.
Staying among the vines of Pagan vineyard was relaxing, rustic and warm with all the comforts of home. We would recommend this accommodation to friends and family and would stay again.
We have stayed in a variety of places on our travels & this place was really something special! Really warm cosy place with all the amenities. The walk down to the River on the property and lunch at the Brewery just through the vineyard were highlights for our little girl and the pooch! Thanks for all the special touches and great hospitality : )
Gorgeous place ! Peaceful ,lovely views and warm and everything you need. Beautifully and stylishly decorated .Perfect for a weekend away with the added bonus of being able to bring our dog and get to spend some nice time on walks with her. Loved staying here. Thank you!
