From its elevated position the property boasts spectacular views over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range. The house has been tastefully fitted out with all the creature comforts of home. If you make this your home away from home and you won't be disappointed. Professional cleaners and hired linen ensure our home is up to the highest standards. Interaction Someone from The Butler is just a phone call away if required. Neighborhood Queenstown Hill is also known by its Māori name of Te Tapu-nui (mountain of intense sacredness), It is a small 907 metres (2,976 ft) mountain in Queenstown. There are many houses on the hill but all activities and restaurants are in the town centre. You can walk into town from the house but be aware coming back up the hill can be a challenge you may want to take the short 5 minute taxi ride instead. Access Other than a locked storage cupboard, guests have full access to the house and garage. Space This is a modern 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home with stunning views. The magnificent views and easy access to the town centre makes it a great option for guests from all over New Zealand and the World. Modern contemporary design set across multiple levels well suited for families or couples that want to relax and unwind in a prime Queenstown location. Reverse Cycle heating/cooling system helps keep the house at a comfortable level year round and the gas fire adds to the ambience. A cot and highchair can be hired from The Butler - please enquire. Transit Although you can walk walk into Central Queenstown it is a tough walk back up the hill home however it is just a 5-7 minute drive. Taxi cost from airport is about $25 Parking for two guest vehicles one in the garage and one on the parking area outside. Please do not block the driveway with your cars. We would recommend 4WD vehicles in the winter as the driveway can get icy. Notes Please note that the house does have a lot of stairs so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Although we welcome families you will need to watch your little ones on the stairs. Please note there is some construction happening next door. This is not a party house. Parking Space : 1 in the garage + 1 outside the garage House Rules This house is in a quiet residential neighbourhood - not suitable for parties or too much noise. No smoking in any part of the house. No pets allowed. On departure the house is to be locked with all lights & appliances off, the BBQ is to be cleaned (if used). The house should be left tidy, with dishes done and rubbish in the bins provided – our cleaners will change beds and clean bathrooms. The accommodation was impeccably clean, comfy beds, and the kitchen was amazingly set up with all the equipment, appliances, crockery and cookware that you need to either whip up a quick family meal or something more complicated. Really thoughtful additions from games, blankets, free Netflix, kitchen staples such as wraps, foil, paper towel, condiments as well as bathroom and laundry supplies. This is definitely a home away from home but on a luxury scale. Clean, well equipped and amazing views. What we noticed this time was how quick it is to walk into town. Even walking back uphill was easy. Support from the Butler property management is flawless from helping with switching off the alarm to providing an extra nights stay because flights were cancelled.
