Kahurangi at the Fjord Chalets is a stunning property catering for up to 8 guests in complete luxury in Queenstown. The property is beautifully finished with scandinavian touches, a spa pool and offering stunning lake views.

Guests will immediately feel a sense of relaxation and indulgence from the minute they sink into the sumptuous huge sofa and just absorb the view of mountains and the lake in privacy yet only a short distance from the centre of Queenstown.

Kahurangi is a Maori word which translates to Kahu – a white feather cloak and Rangi – the sky. A perfect name for a villa that has such big sky views of the Remarkables mountain range and its gentle layer of white cloud – the cloak.

The villa is designed and furnished in a bespoke Scandinavian style with space to spread out and unwind. The kitchen is a perfect gathering spot for friends and family and the ideal space to have one of our chef’s come and cook for you in house one evening. There are four bedrooms – two are ensuite and two share a beautiful large bathroom. The spa pool is situated on a private deck – great for relaxing after a busy day exploring Queenstown.

Walking distance to town or a quick 5 minute drive to central Queenstown. Guests will have amazing views of the surrounding mountains as well as lake Wakatipu.

Kahurangi is located a short 10 minute walk from Queenstown town centre. There is a private internal garage for guests use.

All children and infants are included in the total guest count - maximum number of guests should not exceed that specified on this listing, including all infants. Any bookings made exceeding the maximum number of guests will be cancelled.

A refundable security deposit will be charged to your card prior to your check in. This is a MajorDomo requirement of booking. The deposit value is usually equivalant to the cost of 1 night - we will advise you of the exact figure in your confirmation email.
