"Entirely in line with my previous review of our 2022 stay, needless to say we did return AND are overjoyed we did. The Villa is entirely as previously described and continues to be a joy. Communication via Whatsapp with the owner is flawless, many thanks for this. The area around is a haven of tranquility. We like a real departure from domestic routine and this area so provides. From begin to end of the week I think I overheard but one, Irish accent as it turned out, with all being delightfully Canarian(If such a word exists) Spanish. Reurned relaxed all due to the Villa, the area, the experience."

"This apartment is amazing. The other 3 looked equally amazing. Everything in for a fabulous stay. Wake up to sea views over the lagoons beach and playa la concha beach. The evenings clouded up so only got one sunset and it was quite a chilly wind but was mostly fine. There was a lot of building work but noise not too bad and it was only between 8.30 am and 5pm but not weekends . Úrsula was very nice and kept in touch and we didn’t arrive to village until nearly 10pm and she came to check us in. We have been staying in Cotillo for over 30 years and stayed in various places and this the best and will not hesitate to come back here. Thanks for a great stay "

"This is a lovely large one bedroomed apartment with a wonderful corner balcony overlooking the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo and the swimming pool. It had everything we needed - a fully equipped kitchen, fabulous bathroom, comfortable spacious lounge and lovely bedroom with separate dressing room (and beach views from every window)! This is prime sunny location, right on the beach but also within easy walking distance to the centre and harbour with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes etc. El Cotillo is a charming fishing village with a very chilled vibe and fantastic sandy beaches with crystal clear water. Of course like most places it is gradually getting more built up and there was some building work going on in the village. Sometimes we could hear a repetitive hammering sound when we were on the balcony during the day but it wasn’t very loud and it didn’t unduly disturb us. Otherwise the apartment complex was very quiet - we stayed in mid February and sometimes we had the pool to ourselves! We thoroughly enjoyed this beach location with fantastic views up the coastal lagoons and of course the amazing sunsets, which we enjoyed watching from the balcony. A great location which we can thoroughly recommend to others. Thanks to the owners and the local contacts Ursula and James for a really lovely stay."
