Great pool area, dinner was fantastic, breakfast brunch was just okay. Service is a little slow but otherwise good. Fire alarm went off one night and we lost WiFi one morning but otherwise it was a very nice stay. My only complaint was the kids didn’t seem to stay to the kids pool

We had an amazing 5 night stay here at the Westin. My kids had a blast. Transportation to the central was cheap and easy and we could come back to peace here at the hotel!!! We will def return

I need to comment on something about the private beach first, because it’s important and doesn’t match the review categories well. On our last full day, a lot of garbage (including an actual steak knife, bottle caps and plastic, and disgusting brown bubbles/slime) started washing up on the beach while we were swimming. Previously the beach had been pristine. I suspect this has something to do with the proximity to the marina and the arrival of cruise ships. Relating any further details turns my stomach. I threw away my swimsuit and showered for half an hour. I honestly don’t know what to say. That will haunt my dreams… Anyway, other than that, it honestly was a wonderful hotel with great facilities and fantastic staff.

The hotel grounds are spectacular and pool is lovely! We had a suite on top floor and the view of the Bay was spectacular. Room service was awesome. Staff were all attentive and friendly. Wonderful place to stay.

Nice hotel we had an ocean veiw. The staff here is really friendly and helpful especially the guys in the front of the hotel that help with transportation. They knew a lot and helped us several times. Beach and pool area was nice. We had room service for breakfast everyday and it was very reasonable and nice to sit on balcony. I thought the spa was overpriced though. I was expecting to pay more at a hotel but you can get a great massage outside the hotel in the marina area for 1/3 the price so we did that instead.

This was our second time at this property and we were surprised how much the prices had increased especially for food and drinks. I would even dare to say I felt ripped off when we had lunch by the beach. The tacos I ordered were so small it was more like an appetizer yet the price was very high. It was very obvious that the tortilla was cut into a much smaller circle. No bueno! Unfortunately I will not be returning also because it is turning into an all inclusive resort.

Tuve que esperar más de 30 minutos para que me asignaran habitación. Ya en la misma, la mesa con amenidades del bar tenía latas y paquetes abiertos. Tuve que reportar a la recepción. Finalmente, al momento de la ducha, los dispensadores de jabón estaban vacíos. Nuevamente tuve que solicitar al camaristo que los llenara. El área de Playa no cuenta con las suficientes sombrillas por lo que es prácticamente imposible permanecer ahí y el servicio de bar prácticamente inexistente en esta zona

This is our Second stay here and we can notice the difference because of the construction and changes being made. I’m sure it will return to the glory it was. I think just extra signage about temporary changes go a long way. Pros: We were lucky to get a renovated room. You have improved the bathroom lighting tremendously! Thank you! The glass is very nice and we do appreciate the safe in the room. Room #506 housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast buffet has sustained its excellence. Juan is so friendly and accommodating. The pool area is still lovely and the beach hut is excellent. Pool waiter Carlos is attentive and friendly. Cons: Within 15 min of us checking into our room, another couple walked in on me !!!! They clearly had keys to the room. I was shocked as well as frightened- as were they. We immediately had our room rekeyed and the front desk apologized but could not explain how that happened. I’ve worked in the hotel industry my whole career and double booking a room is a cardinal sin! An apology from a manager would have gone a long way. I understand the hotel is in transition mode but the cleanliness of the floors and windows and outside of the resort looked really bad. The waterfall in front was not operating our entire stay, yet no one was working on it either. All the shops were closed and being used for storage. Can a mini shop be opened in another location just to get by for toiletries and snacks?

This was my 11th. time in this resort again as in my previous review for this property the rooms are old and need to be remodeled , the Toilet is too low and not comfortable other than that I love the location , landescaping and the staff they are all wonderful.

Liked: Room comfort
Reno mess
Love the Westin and have stayed here for years. This year it is going through all kinds of renovations. That’s great, but the grounds near our room on the 1st floor were a mess- sand bags, discarded furniture and appliances and all kinds of trash piled up near our room. This just soured our stay at such a delightful hotel.
