This was a delightful place to stay and we are extremely pleased we chose it for our 2 weeks in Puerto Ayora. Elvira and Juan Carlos were the best hosts one could ever ask for. I Can think of nothing to critisise the Inn or staff about. It was so quiet, comfortable and hassle-free staying there. We had some lovely chats with both our hosts during our stay. If we ever return to the island we will automatically be staying with them again.

Family of four spent 3 nights 4 days and were very comfortable. Very convenient and clean from white towels and linens, to the most friendliest staff you will ever get at a hotel. The breakfasts set us up for the day, kids were happy! Air conditioner worked great. The owner had thought of everything—- hair dryer, clothes zip line to hang wet bathing suits, beach towels ( you will need to ask the staff for them). We highly recommend booking your stay here!

My second time of staying at Maidith Inn. It is a uniquely beautiful hotel, Juan is an excellent, welcoming host, nothing too much trouble for him, explaining the area, places of interest. I would highly recomend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure to spend three nights at the Maidith Galapagos Inn. The property is beautifully decorated and has a nice little pool. The location was very convenient and was a short walk to restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal and the Charles Darwin Center. Our room was clean and well appointed: filled with the thoughtful touches that make traveling life much easier (power outlets built in to the bedside lamps, clothesline in the shower, etc…). Juan Carlos, the manager, was amazing! He gave us many useful tips on how to navigate the island, great restaurant recommendations and helpful advice on which activities to do. Also, he went above and beyond to try to help us locate a non locally available cream for my son’s eczema. He is truly a gem and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. In short, this is a great property to stay on if you are spending time in Santa Cruz!

Maidith is such a wonderful hotel. It is very cute and clean. The owner Juan Carlos was a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating and always available to help out and recommends restaurants or excursions. Lourdes and Shisela were wonderful. They always made such a delicious breakfast and were so sweet. I definitely recommend Maidith as a place to stay. Best, Renee V

We had a great stay at the Maidith for 4 nights in March. The hotel is an interesting piece of architecture that according to the owner's son is inspired by Gaudi, Santorini and the whimsy of his mother. It is well maintained and well located in a quieter section of Puerto Ayora , just a block or two from Darwin Ave. Juan Carlos couldn't have been more delightful and helpful. He had great diinner recommendations, information on the area and even medication for stomach troubles. Great breakfast. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the "boutique" look and feel of Maidith Galapagos Inn. Juan Carlos was so helpful and hospitable offering advice and recommendations, making taxi reservations, etc. The room and premises were clean and well maintained. Everything we wanted to do was within a 20 minute walk. We walked to the beaches at the Charles Darwin Research Center, to the pier where you catch the water taxi to Tortuga Bay Beach, the fish market, and many shops and restaurants. I would certainly come back!

Wow! like most of you out there we selected this hotel based on rating and reviews. Boy are we glad we did. This quaint hotel is the perfect mix of luxury and charm. It is located on a quiet street that is less than 5 minute walk to everything you could want. All of the staff, especially Juan Carlos the owner/manager, went far above and beyond to make us feel special. Breakfast each morning was prepared for us and every meal was better than the last. In short, you won't regret choosing the Maidith Galapagos Inn.
