We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better place to have stayed. It was so comfortable we felt like we were at home. The host provided so many amenities to use during our stay, it was a pleasant surprise. We hope to be able to book this romantic cabin next year.
Clean and tidy older cabin with a magnificent view of the sunrise over Beckwith Lake. Nice quiet, rural area, not far from groceries, gas, and fun activities.Owner/manager is very helpful and answers messages in a timely manner.
The only bad thing about my stay was that it wasn't long enough. Although different family members came for short visits, most of the time it was just me and the hummingbirds and oh yes, a bear stopped by for a couple minutes and then went on his way. Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, every need taken care of. Thank you so much.
Really pleased with this place. I would do 6 stars for location and neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful, a little off the main roads. Great view of Beckwith. Really nice neighborhood to just take off walking. Beckwith is a great little lake for recreation & awesome fishing.
House was exactly as advertised. Great value at affordable price. Kitchen is well equipped and handy. Good internet and TV service. Cool balcony overlooking the lake. Great scenery & lots of wildlife. Convenient drive to stores in Colorado City. Easy drive up the mountains for Isabel, Bishop's Castle, and a dozen good national forest trails. I'm a regular user of vrbo. This was one of my favorite places.
Second time staying at this property. Perfect location for fishing SE Colorado. Not a better value in the region. Got cold and rainy one night. Nice to find the fire in the woodstove was ready to just light a match. Dry firewood on the porch came in handy. Wood fired some steaks on the firepit one night. Deer and turkey hanging around every day. Quiet neighborhood. Lake Beckwith is awesome. Love this place.
We had a great stay. The cabin is a little older but had everything we needed. Felt a little rustic. We would see deer everyday come eat right next to the driveway. San Isabel National Forest is not too far away so we found ourselves venturing up there. Lake Beckwith is right down the street which was awesome. We spent time fishing and walking around there as well. There are some good restaurants in the area as well. Rebecca was easy to work with and was very fast at returning messages. If we are in this area again, we will check to see if it is available.
If I could give more stars I would! This place was perfect for our weekend get away! Loved every minute. The host was very responsive, the house has everything you need and is really close to the lake!
This little cabin on the lake was perfection for our weekend. It was super close to the event we were in town for. We also appreciated all the notes that Rebekah put around the cabin. Super cute and would stay again!
Very comfortable cabin in a great location. Keeping it on our list!
