    The cottage has been beautifully updated and features a full kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, and two full baths. The large lanai and garden backs up to the golf course and the historic Queen Emma Path, a tree-lined trail that leads to tranquil Wyllie Beach.

    The bedroom suite features a California-King Tempur Pedic bed, workspace, and private bath complete with a dual-headed rain shower. Enjoy the tropical garden view from the dining room and native wood built-ins in the living area. A convertible sleeper sofa and additional bathroom with soaking tub make a comfortable setting for additional guests. We enjoyed a wonderful stay as a family of three at the bungalow. The house is well organized, clean, and has all the essentials for a pleasant stay. It is also nicely situated at the end of the walkway offering a sense of privacy. The home is conveniently located near the Princeville center where there is a grocery store, restaurants, and even a post office. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it to other travelers!

Hale Papio was a wonderful, quiet retreat for our time in Kauai. It was a nice location at the back part of the complex with a secluded deck and yard area. The house had all we needed for our getaway.

Beautiful Stay

Magical Getaway

Spent the month of July on this beautiful island of Kauai. The scenery in Princeville & Hanalei takes your breath away. Kudos to Jeff & Joanna Porter for creating this little gem in paradise.

Perfect Little Bungalow!

We had stayed here before, and it was even better than we remembered! The location was perfect and it was easy to travel everywhere on the island from here. The place itself was clean, cozy and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We will be back for sure!!

Spacious, comfortable, well appointed

Walked down the street/hill to great beach. Went to Kileaua, Hanalei. Great location for these spots. Spectacular sunset from the overlook above Hanalei Very quiet except for Kauai’s ubiquitous roosters! Would definitely stay again
