Rooms were clean, could do with updating, there is a restaurant on site , but only did minimal food, bar on site , there are vending machines, that only take only money, but the machine you had to muck about with it to get the snacks as the door was dodgy. Signal is weak, location is lovely

Staff were really helpful, position of the property was great for us and we really enjoyed it. It did need some repairs in a few areas which apparently are getting sorted. Overall I would certainly use the hotel again. Food was also v good.

My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. Staff are lovely, location has fabulous potential and is clean, open and very peaceful, great for if you have a busy lifestyle and want to escape. Didn't try the resteraunt as we had seen a few bad reviews but if you can drive, some lovely eating spots are near by.

I only stated one night, everything clean and staff pleasant, couldn’t get any WiFi and phone reception was non existent, I had to go outside to speak to my husband, not very good as a lone female traveler and as no WiFi this was more inconvenient. But apart from that a nice stay, tea and coffee in room. Nice clean shower area, plenty of towels.

I was a little apprehensive due to the reviews, however I had a great stay. Check in was easy, Robert on the desk was great and chatty. Room was easy to find and maybe I got lucky, room was perfect for my requirements. A large TV, fridge, modernised bathroom, black out curtains, appeared to be a recent carpet, and a comfy bed. Heating was easily adjusted at the radiator. Hotel was quiet.

Great place to stay

Great stay, staff were very friendly and it had everything we needed. Very good value for money. The only thing that could have been improved was to allow dogs in the bar area, or at least part of it!

I had a tough week came away this weekend's and came away with a nice clear heads staff was very friendly the food was top quality and there's no bother if you've got any questions there just answer it I will be back to shame my had to go home I got quite easy of squatted there
