From the moment we arrived, everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The backyard was equally great: spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing or enjoying a meal outdoors. However, the furniture around the fire pit needs an upgrade. The neighborhood itself was quiet and welcoming, making it easy to unwind while still being close to everything. Preston is such a lovely area, with a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. We especially enjoyed its proximity to Mystic, CT—a vibrant nearby town filled with great restaurants, shops, and of course, the famous Mystic Seaport and Aquarium. The location also made it easy to explore local vineyards and scenic drives throughout the region.A special thank you to our host, Paula, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
