The Bungalow at Eagleville Lake Under 3 miles to UCONN!

UCONN parents take note; only 2.8 miles to the campus!

Spend some time at the newly renovated Bungalow, offering 2 queen bedrooms and a queen sleeper sofa, state of the art kitchen and large open living area overlooking the lake. The Bungalow has a chef's dream of a kitchen, with it's soapstone countertop, generous spice selection, coffee bar, small appliance cabinet and griddle/gas range.

The large open space lends itself to enjoying friends and family, all overlooking the tranquil lake. Enjoy a drink on the deck, go for a hike/walk, or have a wonderful day of kayaking and/or paddleboarding. We offer two tandem kayaks, two single kayaks, and a tandem stand or sit paddleboard for your enjoyment. You can paddle for miles in the lake or up the Willimantic River. Keep an eye out for turtles! Bring a fishing pole and bait and reel in a large or small mouthed bass! (Fishing Permit required )

If fishing and kayaking are not your thing, we have tons of outdoor games. Cornhole, horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball, just to name a few! In addition, there are miles of walking trails starting right down the road.

Coventry is known for its antique shops and restaurants. Once you've shopped 'til you've dropped, head back to The Bungalow to enjoy the firepit. Share a few stories and a few drinks. Once you are ready for bed, you will be sleeping on hotel quality beds and linens.

Escape to a Lake
We stayed here for a long weekend with our UCONN student to give him a change of scenery and to spend some quality time with him. The Bungalow is conveniently close to campus, warmly decorated and has lots of activities to foster quality family time and memories. My son especially enjoyed adventuring out on the lake with the kayaks. There are also many hiking trails nearby that we enjoyed.

Excellent Time by the Lake
We really enjoyed our time. Stayed here during a three day trip to UConn. Couldn’t have been better. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, inside and out. It’s also just a few minutes from campus. We look forward to returning soon.

Definitely coming back.
Like the other reviewers, we were impressed by the decor and cleanliness of the bungalow. It was so relaxing and comfortable. It honestly felt like being at our own home. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is better so we can try out the kayaks. I’d even like to visit their Florida location. This is definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed.

Great Stay for UConn
My wife and I were visiting our daughter at UConn and stayed The Bungalow. It was close and convenient to UConn. The place itself was very well done with a lot of attention to detail. We visited in February and given the weather didn't get to enjoy the lack and outdoor activities, but it looks like it would be fun in warmer weather. The kitchen was well stocked, which is important for a foodie, and I had everything I needed to make a beef stew one night.

Hard to leave; be back soon!
The Bungalow was the best in-state getaway I've had in years!! The home is decorated to evoke an immediate sense of peace/escape upon entering and it certainly provided a nice space to relax and disconnect. Although I am one to pack EVERYTHING i think i'll need while away, it was so nice to see the many accommodations and considerations included, from outside family fun activities, rainy day indoor games, but especially the fully stocked spice drawer! I could have saved so much space in my suitcase. Lastly, and certainly a highlight, was the lake and the close proximity of the boat launch. I hadn't been canoeing in years and we spent most of our time on the lake enjoying the wonderful weather and making nice with the swan we affectionately named "Swanderella." We capped each night off by the firepit and as I titled this review, it was hard to leave! Lisa was pleaseant and on the ready and accessible if needed, but there were no issues! I will certainly return!

Such an amazing anniversary stay
We had such an amazing time staying at the bungalow. The pictures do not do this place justice. They have thought of so many things to make your stay that much better, from the seasonings, to the wood for the fire pit, to the pots and pans. We can not say enough great things about this listing. We will definitely be back a couple more times next summer! Thank you!
