"Room was a decent size with balcony and a nice view. Breakfast buffet was good and had a wide variety. I was under the impression hotel would have loungers on the beach, but had to purchase. I give it a 3 for the lack of cleaning in the room and pool, and no parking. They only made the beds and changed towels for the 4 days. Floors were dirty with sand from day 1. We didn’t swim in the pool due to lots of bugs and debris. Had to park far on the street."

"For a well travelled long haul couple, we were anxious that Mallorca would give us what we wanted from a holiday. We wanted peace and quiet, no crowds in a lovely unspoilt spot. The Barefoot in Portocolom delivered in all respects. The hotel is lovely - understated but with all amenities to hand. The staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the room we were originally allocated but this was remedied very quickly and efficiently and we enjoyed the lovely touch of a bottle of bubbles as way of an apology for the inconvenience. I think the mark of a good holiday/hotel is if you ask yourself at the end of your stay, if you’d come back. If the answer is ‘yes’ you know the hotel is doing something right. We would definitely return. Muchos gracias."

"I really enjoyed my stay at ICON Valparaíso in Mallorca. The staff were very helpful, kind, and accommodating throughout our stay, and the views from the hotel were incredible. One of the best hidden gems was the pathway that connects the hotel to a nearby beach — it was only about a 5-minute walk, which made it so easy and convenient. The breakfast was honestly one of the best parts of the stay and had a great selection. One thing I would note: if you have food allergies, I would be cautious with the lunch and dinner options. I did have an allergic reaction during my stay, but the staff were very accommodating and helpful when it happened. I would also recommend renting a car or planning transportation ahead of time, as taxis in the area can be limited and expensive. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel with amazing views, kind staff, and a peaceful location. if you're looking for something relaxing, this is the spot."

"Was amazing place trendy style good times with great music and atmosphere! Food was some of the best we had definitely a foodie experience!!! Would highly recommend riding the bikes down the water an edge to the lighthouse !!!"
