This central district, now very fashionable, is very well served by public transport, meaning that reach any part of the city is really easy. On top of this, the apartment is just 2 minutes walk from Ferreira Borges market, the Stock Exchange Palace, the Cathedral, Clerics, Douro river, and walking through the bridge D. Louis, you can visit the cellars of Porto wine. Eating and drinking is not a problem, as are numerous restaurants, bars, traditional grocery stores where you will surely fall in love with food and wine from the Douro Valley.

Highly recommended apartment for a couple

This apartment is highly recommended for a couple visiting Porto. The location is centrally located, within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and close to restaurants. It's small but usable balconies overlook a lively 'plaza' which adds great ambience and increased our enjoyment of the city. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, fully equipped and has plenty of room. And our host Carlos was great. He welcomed us and provided an excellent overview of the apartment and things to do. He's very proud of his city. Overall we loved staying there!

Great location. Middle of it all.

We had an incredible 5 days at the wine apartments in Porto. We were met at the front door by Carlos. He showed us around the apartment then took the time to mark up a map for us of places and restaurants that were can't miss. The wine apartments were our home base for our time there and it was in a perfect location. An easy five minute walk from the train station. Many great restaurants including a few Michelin starred restaurants within a few minute walk. Carlos also helped us find a private tour of the Douro which was an incredible experience. Ask for it if you can. Overall the perfect place to stay in Porto for active, fun loving people.

Comfortable apartment in lively neighborhood

The apartment is in a great location - you can walk anywhere in the historic area within a few minutes. The balcony overlooks a lively square where there are many restaurants with people dining outside and sometimes live music. Carlos was waiting for us when we arrived and everything was clean and comfortable for our stay. Highly recommended!
