Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Paar im Haus von Borja. Die Lage ist sehr gut: wenige Meter zu einem traumhaften Strand, ruhig inmitten mehrerer Ferienhäuser, unweit von zwei größeren Orten die Bäckereien, Supermärkte und Restaurants bieten. Die Küche ist mehr als zweckmäßig ausgestattet, inklusive Kaffee-Vollautomat, Mikrowelle und Grill. Man merkt dass die Besitzer das Ferienhaus selbst nutzen. Der Garten bietet immer sonnige und schattige Ecken, ist sehr gepflegt und dank der Palmen kommt direkt Urlaubsstimmung auf. Ein (Miet-) Wagen (sehr empfehlenswert da bereits für Einkäufe erforderlich) kann in der Garage geparkt werden. Wir empfehlen Küstenspaziergänge in beide Richtungen (Porto do Son und Portosin), zum Teil mit leichten Kletterpartien über Felsen, auf Pfaden durch Waldabschnitte und mit weiteren schönen Stränden. Ein Ausflug (im Auto) zum Mirador dos Forcados belohnt mit einem großartigen Ausblick auf die Halbinsel und die angrenzenden Fjorde. Tagesausflüge nach Santiago de Compostela und A Coruña lohnen sich. Wir hatten Ende September mit 20 Grad und viel Sonne sehr gutes Wetter. Am Strand war es zu dieser Jahreszeit leer, einige Restaurants hatten nur am Wochenende geöffnet oder ganz zu. Touristen waren kaum zu sehen.
