"Hotel was clean, but is showing signs of age; needs updating. Staff was very nice and helpful. Shuttle service was great. The lock on our room was broken. Staff couldn’t get us into the room for hours, then someone had to stay inside, no keys worked. Overall, I will stay again."

Holiday Inn Portland-By the Bay by IHG

10/10 Excellent
"Perfect Location and price! The customer service at this hotel was excellent, the front desk clerk was very informative and welcoming, which was a big relief since it was my first time visiting Maine and didn’t know what to expect. The rooms were very clean and the views were a bonus for me. The biggest highlight was how close this location was to some of the best restaurants downtown and the port. They also provided me guidance when it came to reserving my airport shuttle before checking out, which I loved because they were very punctual and helpful. I would recommend everyone to stay at this hotel!"
