  • Summary:

    Private three-bedroom daylight-basement apartment in Buckman with four queen sleeping surfaces and two full bathrooms, sleeping up to eight. Full kitchen, main-area mini-split cooling, bedroom wall heat, 65-inch smart TV, and Wi-Fi. Exterior stairs are required. No private parking or currently available guest laundry. The dishwasher is not offered pending repair of a recurring E4 fault.



    The Space:

    Bedroom 1 has one queen bed and an attached full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has one queen bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen-over-queen bunk. A second full bathroom is off the hall.



    The open kitchen, dining, and living area has one mini-split for cooling. Each bedroom has an individual wall heater but no dedicated A/C unit. The living room has a 65-inch smart TV for guest-owned streaming accounts. Wi-Fi is provided without a speed or uninterrupted-service guarantee.



    The dishwasher is not an available amenity while a recurring E4 fault awaits documented repair. There is no available guest laundry while a reported shared-laundry leak awaits documented repair and safe reinspection.



    Guest Access:

    Use the black metal gate on the right side of the building, then follow the exterior stairs down. At the bottom, pass two doors; Unit 5 is the wooden door on the left. The mechanical wall lockbox is directly to the right of that door. Slide its cover open, set the numbers, pull the small black release, and take the physical key. The local-alarm sign and plastic-covered low outlet are not access devices. This is not a smart lock. Current gate and lockbox credentials are separately labeled in the secure portal and current check-in message.



    The shared laundry adjoins Unit 5 behind an interior service door that must remain locked and secured. It is not an apartment entrance. If it is open, unlocked, or leaking, message the team immediately. There is no private or assigned parking.



    The Neighborhood:

    The apartment is in Portland's Buckman neighborhood near the Belmont, Hawthorne, and Division corridors. Businesses and hours change, so use a current map for destinations.



    Getting Around:

    Walking, biking, public transit, rideshare, and driving are options. Use current navigation or TriMet information for routes and times. Public curb parking is unreserved and controlled by the exact signs where the vehicle is parked.



    Other Things to Note:

    Entry requires exterior stairs down to the daylight-basement apartment; there is no elevator or documented step-free route. Only the main living/kitchen area has mini-split cooling. Neighboring-unit sound may be audible. The adjoining laundry service door is not guest access and must remain secured. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM.



    Interaction with Guests:

    Message the team through the booking channel for help. Clearly state if you are locked out, a key is missing, a lockbox will not open, the laundry service door is open or leaking, the dishwasher shows E4, or another safety issue is active so it can be escalated.

Great location, clean apartment! No hot water was the biggest disappointment. If you are a light sleeper, you will have a rough go, this is a basement appt.
