This Forgotten Coast rental is only one mile from Windmark Beach, making it easy to lounge the day away with the hot tubs, playgrounds, and fitness room at your disposal. Don't let the fun end when you head to your home away from home for the night, because the porch at this home is screened in to keep bugs out and fresh air in. When you want the air conditioning, head indoors and watch a movie on a flatscreen TV in the living room. Next to the brightly decorated living room is the well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and dishwasher. Whip up snacks and easy meals to save money on dining out while not missing a moment of your favorite TV show. Private laundry is available as well. Everything a snowbird could need!

Honeymoon stay

We locked the area and the cottage could have been a little cleaner in the kitchen in my opinion but we would definitely go back it was so peaceful and relaxing

The beds suck, you can feel the springs, hard, and the one mattress was broke in middle so you like caved in. Light in master bedroom didn’t work, which was ok because there was a lamp. The fan was super noisy as well. We noted ants throughout the house on our first day. The upstairs balcony doesn’t have a lock on the door. The screen door doesn’t latch properly. We had 5people staying and was only provided with 3 regular towels. We didn’t have a spare blanket for the sofa bed, so we took one off the regular beds so we only had a sheet to use. We added a night to our stay and the code to the door changed and we was never notified so we spent an hour trying to get ahold of someone to get the new code. We also lost all water to our cottage/condo for 5-6hrs. Wifi was terrible and kept cutting in and out. No one ever told us about the “community” building or gave us a code to get in to use the elliptical or treadmill etc. The pool was wonderful, i was thankful they provided floats and etc although it would have been nice if they were inflated a little better. Overall. We had a fantastic stay and loved our get away.

Nice spot to stay.

Beach retreat

The cottage was a perfect home away from home. Just 2 minutes from Wnindmark beach and only 5 min from the town of Port St Joe.

Wonderful Vacay!

We had a great time at the Barefoot Cottages and will be back! My only complaints were that the guide for the TV did not match the channel listings and the beds weren’t too comfortable. It was a great location and perfect for our group of 4.

Spring Vacation

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Barefoot Cottage B22. The cottage is very tastefully decorated with all the comforts of being at home. Love the Port Saint Joe area and the most beautiful beaches in Florida as this is my second trip to the area and to Barefoot Cottages.
