"Great place to stay for a large family "

"Great house. Very quiet."

"Wir waren im Mai 2025 mit 10 Erwachsenen, 2 kleinen Kindern und einem Hund für eine Woche vor Ort (es haben locker mehr Leute Platz), um einen Geburtstag zu feiern. Die Anlage ist einfach wunderschön, fantastisch und genau wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos - vielleicht sogar noch schöner, mit der weite und grösse der Anlage. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr sauber und extrem gut gepflegt. Jeden Morgen sind die sehr freundlichen Besitzer persönlich vor Ort und reinigen und pflegen die Aussenbereiche. Besonders toll empfanden wir den grossen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit allem was es braucht (grosse Küche, grosser Grill und Pizzaofen, grosser Gemeinschaftsraum innen, wenn das Wetter mal nicht gut sein sollte). Natürlich hat es auch im Aussenbereich genügend Platz für Essen, Apéro's usw... Für uns besonders toll - das Gelände ist vollständig eingezäunt - unser Hund konnte den ganzen Tag frei unterwegs sein und hat dies auch genossen. Der See der zum Grundstück gehört ist wunderschön und auch der Tennisplatz sehr gepflegt. Es ist auch ein Spazierweg im Gelände angelegt (Dauer ca. 30 Minuten Spaziergang) - unglaublich schön und einfach ein zusätzliches "Goodie". Man spürt, dass die Besitzer mit Herzblut dabei sind und die Anlage entsprechend pflegen. Stefano, Roberta und insbesondere Andrea sind jederzeit über Handy erreichbar (er hat übrigens Zugang zu den besten Bistecca alla Fiorentina - 3 Finger - der Toscana), sehr freundlich und helfen mit Tipps rund um die Uhr... Wir mieten ab und zu solche Liegenschaften im Süden. Dies war mit Abstand die schönste und beste Liegenschaft die wir bisher hatten. Einfach wirklich alles super und jederzeit wieder."

"From the minute I made the reservation at this Villa for our girl's trip (4 of us), Monica was in communication. She was very responsive throughout our stay as well. She and Liz, whom the villa is named after, are a team and they work with their other sister and their husbands to make sure everything you need is taken care of. Monica and Liz greeted us with wine, cake, and lasagna - it doesn't get better than that! All of their cooking was delicious. The villa has three huge bedrooms, which is a luxury in Italy, and each has its own bathroom, which were also quite large. The common inside areas were nice, the kitchen is small and very well-stocked, and the outside grounds are just spectacular!We did not actually swim in the pool but we did lounge around the pool a couple of days for a bit and took a few dunks. It's very nice and the views are beautiful.The Villa is very close to the town of Poppi which is small and charming. Poppi has many shops, a few grocery stores, and a bunch of very good restaurants. We did visit the Zoo since we ate lunch there the day Monica and Liz invited us. It is owned by their family.We loved the bread service every morning - you order with Monica the day before and the bread you ordered is there in a bag on the entrance gate the next morning. Just one of the many touches of this wonderful villa.The only thing that caught us off guard was that we paid for electricity separately. And, our bill was quite expensive. Just be aware!"
