"We had an amazing stay at Mme Sol’s house over Christmas. Unfortunately car trouble meant we were without transport but we spent the time relaxing, enjoying the full kitchen, comfortable lounge, fireplace, games, table tennis and badminton. The house is beautifully furnished, warm and fully equipped - everything has been thought of. Mme Sol and Mme Louchard checked in to make sure we were OK and provided advice and also bikes so we could travel to the village. We wished we could have stayed...

The property is really lovely, it has so much character and is set in spacious grounds so ample room for the children to entertain themselves. "The place was very pleasant for the base we used it for. The stay was somewhat spoilt on the last day with the owner implying we hadn't clean the kitchen floor or the bathroom. Considering we found children toys under the coffee table, part of a broken glass under the settee and a pubic hair in the shower his dig at my partners cleaning was totally unwarranted and if my French, or his English, had of been better my response would have been somewhat more vocal."

"My friends and I had an amazing stay at this lovely house. Especially the outdoor area was beautiful and the pool was great! The house is just a 10 minute drive from a lovely town and shops for groceries. The hosts even organised for us to go horse-riding at their horse riding school which was a great experience. Overall, we loved our stay and had the great time. Eloïse and her father were a great help when we needed it and they were such lovely people!"

"Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value. Definitely plan on eating out. Rooms were huge but our bathroom had only a bath with no shower which given how big it was seemed a little strange. The Chateau is dog friendly which we appreciate and overall we enjoyed our stay "
