Don't let the outside appearance fool you, this is a great little hotel! The rooms are spacious, very clean and well equipped, although access to hot water (a kettle would do) for tea or coffee would be good. The service is great and a excellent breakfast for just 5 euros is unbeatable. Off street parking is accessible and very safe. Lots of good information about the area and how to get there avoiding the tourist traps.

A hidden gem for visiting Pompeii!
It was easy to locate travelling by local train and a short walk (15 mins). We were met by the owner who explained everything fully, details for breakfast the following morning and gave us ideas of where to eat etc. Great communication via WhatsApp to schedule our arrival. Breakfast the following morning was very nice with a good choice of food, make your own panini and a freshly baked croissant! Good coffee too. The room was clean and tidy, with a nice spacious ensuite shower room. Nearest supermarket we could find was approx 20 minute walk at a leisurely pace and there was a good selection of places to eat, all within decent walking distance. Only improvement we could suggest is maybe an extra pillow as we felt they were a little flat. All in all, we’d definitely recommend this place and thank you for a lovely place to rest our legs for another gruelling walk the following day 😉

Safe haven in a noisy city. Great value for money.
A calm oasis in a busy city. Everything you need. Excellent breakfast a bargain at 5EUR. Close to ruins. Secure carpark (I didn't use it but there's a secure electric gate with pass key). Roberto and his sister Claudia are attentive and extremely helpful if you want advice on train travel or a good place to eat. Highly recommended.

Marie met us like a mother when we arrived late. Our room was clean, comfortable and a 5 minute walk to the ruins. Breakfast was great as were the fellow guests we met. I strongly recommend this place.

Ignore the facade and enjoy the hospitality.
Pompei is a great archaeological site in a relatively unattractive area with limited accomodation near to the site. Most people come on organised coach tours and rail transport, and the area caters for mass tourism day trippers. We were en route from Amalfi to the Naples airport and decided to overnight in Pompei to get a good visit to the ruins and an early departure for the airport. Villa Rocla was chosen as it was walking distance tor the entrance to the ruins which was also the drop off point for the PINTOURS shuttle from Amalfi to Naples Airport, which by the way is the best way to travel between Amalfi to the airport at a reasonable price. The exterior of Villa Rocla is not inviting but Roberta and Maria have created a B and B providing all you require for an short stay. The rooms are basically furnished but comfortable clean and everything works. The showers were hot the bed comfortable and the breakfast was good. The fact the rooms back onto a garden means the frontal exterior is unimportant as the rooms have a pleasant outlook. Roberto was a perfect friendly host, offering good advice and was helpful. Villa Rocla is excellent value and we will go again if in the area.

No sleep!!
The lady owner was quite lovely. Her breakfast spread is great! The gentleman who checked us in would only deal with my boyfriend even though all the booking was in my name.. Seemed ridiculous in my mind but there’s worse things. The worst part however was they let their dog bark until we’ll after midnight and then it started up again at 6am the next morning... And we stayed 2 nights. We got almost no sleep. The location is great for visiting the ruins and 45min walk from train station but will not be staying here again.

mi dispiace che non abbia dormito , purtroppo quello non e il nostro cane, mentre per la prenotazione visto che quando ha prenotato non ha inserito i suoi dati io non potere sapere chi fatta, e per rispetto ed educazione ho parlato con il suo fidanzato . la ferrovia dello stato dista dal BB solo 1,5 chilometri mentre la circumvesuviana linea Napoli/Sorrento dista dal BB solo 700 metri. mi dispiace che avete preso treno e stazione sbagliata .

The family are extremely helpful. Very close to Pompeii and train line to Sorrento and Naples. 25 minutes away from Naples airport.

Bit rough
The property is about a half mile away from away from the ruins. It's a long walk if you have a lot of luggage. Maria and Claudia were super nice . Breakfast was continental with coffee and pastries, all homemade and very good. My first impression wasn't the best but I ended up liking the place by the time we left.

Salve , le stanze sono dotate di condizionamento autonomo , anche se lei ha preso una tariffa base in offerta per tre persone ... comunque se avesse comunicato un orario di arrivo le avremmo acceso il condizionatore una mezz’ora prima, tanto 10 minuti e la stanza diventa un forno. Per la posizione Invece non saprei che dirle, arrivano da tutto il mondo , buon anno

Accueil et lieu chaleureux, situation géographique idéale pour être au calme et découvrir à la fois les villes et îles proches de Naples et Côte Amalfitaine. Maria et Roberto sont des hôtes très sympathiques. Petit déjeuner 5 euros. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Leuke b&b dichtbij opgravingen.
Dit verblijf ligt op loopafstand van de opgravingen van Pompeii. Ontbijt is prima , leuke tuin erbij en ontzettend vriendelijk personeel.

Soggiorno impeccabile per le nostre esigenze.
Al Villa Rocla ci siamo trovati molto bene, tutti e 4 . Posizione agevole per Pompei ed eventuale navetta per salire sul Vesuvio, zona periferica rispetto Napoli centro e abbastanza silenziosa.perfetto per le nostre esigenze e mete.Parcheggio disponibile,pranzo in veranda e gestori accoglienti e disponibili. Migliorerei il servizio colazione, unica nota meno positiva del nostro soggiorno. Non ho pareri sul servizio wi-fi perchè non utilizzato.

salve ci dispiace ma lei ha preso 1 camera familiare , non per 4 adulti , e le assicuro che le nostre sono le stanze piu grandi della media di pompei , poteva prendere 2 matrimoniali ma le sarebbe costato un 10 € in piu. ci dispiace

Une villa très familiale et très recommandable
Villa au premier abord triste mais ce n'est que la facade. Les proprietaires sont super sympathiques et on est vraiment bien sur la terrase qui domine le parc avec ses orangers odorants. Pour situer la gentillesse de la maison, la fille avant notre départ nous cueillira 2 oranges. En résumé, un jour bien agréable dans un cadre qui l'est tout autant, qui plus est super bien placé par rapport aux ruines grandioses de Pompéi.

Très bien situé pour un séjour de plusieurs jours: proximité immédiate du site de Pompéi (10 minutes à pied), mais aussi de la gare ferroviaire (5 minutes à pied) pour toute visite dans le secteur : Naples, Sorrente, Herculanum, le Vésuve… Les « plus » : L’accueil très enjoué de Maria qui déborde de bonne humeur. Les petits déjeuners très variés et copieux.

Consigliatissimo.struttura molto carina ed appartata a pompei.molto comodo il parcheggio interno.proprietari molto disponibili,cortesi e simpatici.stanza pulitissima e letto molto comodo.colazione con tutto quello che puo' far iniziare bene la giornata.siamo stati qui per un matrimonio ma la risceglieremo prossimamente per visitare gli scavi.non mancando di portare la porchetta per la signora :D grazie ancora. I romani :)
