"Our family of parents and 17 and 12 year old kids enjoyed our stay and the cottage was as advertised, cosy and functional. We enjoyed the pastoral outlook to the hills, the visiting chooks, and the prelaid fire. Our hosts turned on the lights and heater for our evening arrival - very kind. Our daughter LOVED the mezzanine bedroom and we all enjoyed the short drive to phenomenal bushwalking and the quiet away from the bustle of a very busy long weekend in Halls Gap."

"Stayed for 5 days over Christmas - 4 of us in total (couple and parents-in-law). Cottage was a great base for exploring the area, and nice and comfortable. Very quiet for relaxing and sleeping, and plenty of kangaroos and birds visiting the property. Simple but decently equipped, we were able to make a Christmas dinner in the kitchenette. Friendly and communicative management, no issue with us arriving a bit late. Would definitely recommend and consider coming back if we visit the Grampians...

"This brilliant cottage is set in an amazing natural bush area where you are not only greeted by a lovely sunset and sunrise but the local visitors are friendly and fun. The cabin itself is set over two levels with the upper level being for the bedrooms and bathroom with the lower level for a fantastic kitchen, living area and furnished balcony, complete with gas BBQ. Very high standard of both cleanliness and property maintenance throughout. Only a couple of minutes from Halls Gap this property...

"We (a group of 10) stayed 3 nights. When we booked the accomodation back last year there was only 1 review of 5 stars on Stayz so our expectations were high, especially for the price. Prior to our trip, subsequent reviews (on other sites) were posted which lowered our expectations somewhat. Overall, we agreed with the most recent reviewers that the house is very clean and Kerry the caretaker communicated well. The size of the house is large and spacious. The negatives are quite extensive...
