Beautiful peaceful setting and well maintained park. I stayed in a van with ensuite. Linen quality and other amenities were excellent and the staff were very helpful. I’ve already booked for another stay.

Quiet with nice views and a good place to stop overnight. Upon check in the lady was friendly. Cabin was dated as advertised. However, didn’t feel heaps clean, may have had some plumbing issues also because there was a sewerage smell coming from our cabin bathroom.

In the pictures it looked like we were staying in a cabin but stayed in a Pod, which was very small in space. We had to request a Kettle as there wasnt one in the pod. The bed was very comfy which was a plus.

Staying in an old passenger bus, beautifully renovated for accomodation. An absolute joy to wake up looking out the back window to see a flock of corellas, ducks, etc on a natural river.

Stayed one night with family visiting from overseas. Comfy beds and pillows, and pleasant environment overall. However, inside the cabin could do with some cleaning, we could see hair and stain on the kitchen floor and sticky dining table on arrival. Old dining chairs, broken lamp, no WiFi, no toilet paper and bin bags.

Great value, was able to check-in late (after 9pm) but check with staff first. Bed in cabin was very firm but I didn't expect a hotel bed anyway so no worries. Cabin lost power in one evening and I had staff remedy the next day which was just its power cord had come loose.

We stayed in one of the shipping container units. Was an interesting experience! We loved the queen bed bunk beds- very creative use of space! Future visitors may be interested to note that the toilet is completely black in a black room. So it was hard to see! Also the shower has no lighting over it, so you shower in the shadows. Otherwise, the whole park is lovely and peaceful. I'd recommend staying here, especially if you like industrial decor!

I was very disappointed that there wasn’t a kettle tea coffee or a bit of milk that I could’ve used. There were cups and plates and sources but no tea off your kettle.

The park is lovely and well situated in town. It's an easy walk to the main street for meals, etc. The only issue we experienced was the cabin. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but we were unaware before arriving that the bed was up a ladder that was very difficult to access. It needed another handle on the left to make it safe. The TV and fridge being under the bed and the "bus seats" to sit on made relaxing in the room difficult. We had to hunch over to get in and out of that space. If the TV had been up with the bed, it would have been better. A shelf in the bathroom and a towel hook or rail would have also helped. These are small things, but they would have made our stay more comfortable.

After arriving at Stawell for our one night stay, we were informed that the cabin had bunk beds and that it was my error for not securing a double bed. Upon fruitless discussions with the manager, I was yelled at and told to leave with a verbal agreement to a complete refund. As a customer, I've never in my lifetime been spoken to in such an aggressive manner before. I have no hesitation in publishing my experience on my media page for all to read. Your manager needs a lesson in customer relations before his next confrontation with a customer. I explained that paying a further cost for a double bed was outside our budget as aged pensioners but he insisted either pay up or leave, so I left with him slamming the office door after me. Never again. Yours sincerely john Lawton.
