"It was pet friendly and well located, near the beach and restaurants. We didn't realise that we needed to book breakfast in advance but the owners were very good about it and accommodated us anyway."

"Everything about Boscastle House is just right.
The house is spotless with much attention to detail.
Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and served in a very pleasant dining room by Dawn.
We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again."

The Farmers Arms was a lovely country pub with good food and good staff, all very polite and friendly. Dan the landlord explained that they had a party on Friday night and music on Saturday so there would be quite a lot of noise. There was a lot of noise but it didn't keep us awake we both had good nights sleep. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!

First morning at breakfast it was a little disappointing, we went down at 9am and the buffet was basically gone! We went down earlier the next couple of days and it was so much better. Room was perfect, and the area was great.

We stayed in the game room as a family of two adults and two children.
Great location. Walking distance to the town and loads of beaches. Cindy is such a friendly, warm, kind lovely lady! And Ashley was just as friendly. The room was tidy and clean, there were shower gel/shampoos/towels and tea/coffee and snacks there on arrival. My daughters loved the pool table in the room and we had fun. We had breakfast two mornings and the food was lovely. Lots to choose from and was cooked beautifully....

Had a very large room - king bed and sofa, chairs, plenty of drawer space and a nice bathroom. Good variety of drinks available in the room. Food was very good, all home cooked. Replacement of toiletries was a slight problem but new staff were employed in this area during our stay and everything was fine after that. The proprietors we very welcoming and kind, nothing too much trouble, as were the evening restaurant staff. Very good experience.

The lady who runs the b&b was lovely, and so friendly, she gave us all the information we needed when we checked in.
The room was large and spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom had shampoo & conditioner as well as shower gel & soap.
We paid for our parking at a car park down the road, but the b&b do have a small parking area out the back.
Breakfast had a huge amount to choose from, cooked, cereals, toast, pancakes, pastries , yogurt & fruit.
Hot drinks & fresh...

Lovely room. Nice pub. Food good. EV charger was a definite benefit as well as coffee machine. Make sure you ask how to work the bedside lamps if not told!!

When is the best time to book a B&B in Polzeath?
The best time to book a B&B in Polzeath is during the peak summer season from June to August, when the village truly comes alive. This period attracts beach lovers and surfers eager to take advantage of the warm weather and vibrant coastal atmosphere. With temperatures typically ranging from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, the conditions are just right for enjoying outdoor activities such as surfing, paddleboarding, and long beach walks.

For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider visiting in September. The summer crowds begin to dwindle, yet the weather remains pleasantly mild, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore the stunning coastal paths and enjoy the beauty of the area without the hustle and bustle of peak season.
