"Our family of 13, ranging from 2 to 72 were delighted with our 11 days in Villa Maris The 3 apartments with their different bedroom arrangements, suited our family grouping well. They were all spotless and very well equipped to a high standard. The pool was great (owners attended daily to clean) and with the direct access to the beach, and use of the villa’s paddleboard, our family had a great time. The owner, Fabian, his wife and mother were all very helpful with any queries we had – providing us with delicious home baked cakes and taking us to the big supermarket when we first arrived. We would fully recommend this to other families for the location, the high standard of the apartments – and the friendly, helpful support from the owners. "

"Was a bit concerned with checkout where the proprietor said that the Hotel does not take credit card and I must pay cash (mentioning a nearby ATM). I said to proprietor I was worried about ATM hacking (by skimmer) and using foreign ATM's may have other risks. Proprietor kindly said I could pay by sending Euros to his wife's iban bank account, so doing that option. I mentioned that it would be nice to list cash payment policy on Expedia site as Expedia seems to be the contractor for making the agreement/deal on the booking. Otherwise customers cannot estimate how much cash to bring on foreign travel if a hotel demand pops up at the last moment."

"Beautiful location right on the beach. It is a drive to Old town Split though so it depends on what you’re looking for. Perfect for our family to lounge on the beach, enjoy the food, and still take a day trip to Split. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Would stay again!"
