"It was just ok for the money, overpriced for sure. Not a beach area its a river area. Front door did not lock from the inside and code on the door didnt work. Had to get the keys out of a lock box in the dark. Living room only had a 2 person love seat and a chair , no sofa . We had 4 adults so it wasnt very comfortable. Pictures look better than it actually was."

"Stefan was a very responsive, friendly host.Kitchen( which I believe is being redone shortly) was extremely well equipped, fridge spotless, lots of ice, spices, every utensil and tons of dishes. Very easy to cook a legit meal. Upstairs master huge with a little balcony for Sunset. The location is perfect- across from a beautiful huge, quiet beach and easy access to things in town. Newburyport is a quick 5 min scenic drive. Lots of beach chairs , towels, toys. Huge deck and study umbrellas for gathering and outside dining. Outdoor shower great convenience and gives you a 2nd place if the inside shower is busy. Grill worked fine. All in all a wonderful sept visit!"

"Watch out! The description of the house that was on the VRBO website when we rented – specifically the sleeping areas -- was COMPLETELY different than the actual house. Details are below. We called immediately upon arrival because it was obvious that it didn’t have even half the number of beds that were advertised. The host and VRBO acknowledged that they made huge mistake in the description, but they argued about who was at fault. I requested a 50% refund at that time, as we were getting fewer than half what was promised. VRBO promised to work it out, but they continue to give us the runaround. Lesson everyone should take from this: VRBO does NOT clarify or verify the info a host gives, and some hosts are not honest in their description. We would have moved but it was Friday afternoon, Labor Day weekend, and we couldn’t find another place available at the last minute. Super uncomfortable situation, made even worse because it was relatively expensive. Descrepencies: Advertised 8 queen beds, 2 double beds, 1 twin bed, 2 twin bunkbeds, saying it slept 15Instead, it had fewer than half the sleeping places: 1 queen bed, 4 double beds, 1 twin bed, 1 twin trundle bed In addition to these major inaccuracies:•Door in the downstairs bedroom doesn’t close•The outside grill was so rusty and filthy it was impossible to clean enough to use•Did not have enough chairs in the kitchen (3 in one area, 6 in another) so we could never all sit down and eat together•Ice maker didn"
