"Lovely house close to the beach. Plenty of room on the porch, living room and kitchen for the 5 of us to hang out and catch up. About 10 mins to Newburyport. Hard to find beach parking so on your day of checkout, if you’re wanting to go to the beach, make sure you get to the beach access (there’s one about a half mile away from the house heading back toward town) by 7:00 am and park your car there. It was already full by 10:00. There were some dead bugs on the porch but that’s to be expected being near the beach. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. Updated bathrooms and comfy beds. Host was incredibly responsive. Would recommend."

"Great location, very clean, can bike to the beaches, and there are at least two beach restaurants at the end of the street. Close to Newburyport as well. Hope they get those curtains in on the second floor fixed and there is a vent outside the upstairs bathroom (outside) that needs a hood replaced or it makes noise on a windy night. Such small things true my, and it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!!!"

"My family and I stayed for two nights over the weekend and loved it. The home is clean and had all the amenities we needed. Short walk to the beach and to tasty food at Mad Marthas. We also were able to bring our dog, which may it even more enjoyable. "

"We were happy to stay in the clean, simple, private cottage in a quiet neighborhood of Plum Island. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The driveway access was tight, but manageable. We drove the few miles to the Parker National Wildlife Refuge and would love to have spent more hours there looking at birds and beaches."

"We were looking for a place with 4 rooms that weren't super crowded and had enough places to park and we came across this listing. It's a bit "Harry Potter" like, in a sense that it has corridors and rooms that connect up and down from different directions and It's very cool. I love that the living room area has a high ceiling and is open to the 2nd floor so you don't feel crowded at all even if everyone is in the same living room. Before getting there, google map said it would be a 15 minute walk from the cottage to the beach; however, we found that there is a path from the backyard that takes about 5 minutes to get to the beach. Not recommended at night as the tide comes in and the ground is a bit wet but during the day, it's fine. It has a lot of big windows and doors that you can open so the air circulates well and isnt generally too hot even on a hot day but the rooms can get stuffy especially the two that don't have the AC installed. The cottage was well maintained and had all the amenities mentionned on the page, except the baby high chair that we couldn't locate but it wasnt the end of the world. The wifi provided was good, not spotty at all, and the water pressure from the shower was good as well. Overall, we had a really great time here and we were very happy to discover this new place. The beach is very nice too. It's not overcrowded with tourists like hampton beach so it was very relaxing. The sand is a bit gritty but nothing to fret about. "
