The kitchen is well equiped, the apartment is very clean. The only negatives I would have to mention are the very low waterpressure in the showers (both indoor and outdoor shower) and not having a comfortable seating arrangement in the living room. A nice lounging sofa would have been better than the wooden bench in the living room. The owner of the property lives close by and is readily available for any questions you may have. Overall, we enjoyed our week long stay at the Barbados suite very much and would definetely return for another vacation. Each room was superbly and individually decorated by the owners Joe and Francoise who were both always attainable and answered our every question. The 2 bedroom apartment we rented was a dream, and my husband and me upon our departure agreed we could have very easily stayed another 3 weeks. The lovely Plantation House is ideally situated in Playa del Carmen's heartbeat of activity and night life, 5th avenue. It is also just a block away from the beautiful blue beach. Even though very close to the action, it was incredibly quiet and private. A very relaxing getaway. Our apartment was just what we wanted, and much more. We had a lovely deck where we would watch the sunset with a glass of wine. There is housekeeping, and also a cool plunge pool which we would soak in after a long day at the beach.! Highly highly recommended, and I can't wait to go back again." ---
