There wasn't hot water in the room for showers, when they cleaned the room it wasnt very clean. It took forever to get a ride anywhere. Just all around not the service we are used to in Mexico

Relaxing Hotel

Loved Blue Diamond Riviera Maya Boutique Hotel....especially the staff. Very friendly, attentive and made our stay enjoyable...especially since we had 4 days of rain. We kept them quite busy. We enjoyed Jose David our whole stay and he prepared the best dessert our last night. What a presentation! Ramiro and Sandra at Cerviche's took very good care of us everyday. Gilberto took very good care of us on the beach....for the day or two of sun we had. Roberto our butler, Jonas the cook at Cerviche, Jorge the doorman. I'm sure I'm forgetting others who made our stay so special. We had a really good time despite all the rain.

Great place to relax and unwind.

The resort is a great place to relax and unwind. The food was very good and the staff was excellent and attentive. The amenities are much less than mega-resorts but if you want to unwind this is a great place to go

Honeymoon for Two (Ladies)

We had such a wonderful time at Blue Diamond. The grounds and our Laguna Suite were gorgeous. The food was delicious. Sandra at Ceviche made us feel at home every day. Luis at Ambar and Gabriel at the concerierge desk went above and beyond for us as well. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again!

Our greeting to the hotel was by far the best part of our experience. We were greeted and welcomed at the entrance and immediately given delicious fresh juice and chocolate truffles. Unfortunately, from then on it went down hill. It was our honeymoon and we had reserved a nicer villa in hopes of creating an upscale romantic experience. We found ourselves calling on the room service regularly to complete basics services such as cleaning the rooms, making the beds and restocking our water. On two separate occasions we called our personal butlers before we left for dinner and requested that our rooms be cleaned for the evening only to come back to a room that had been untouched. We were informed upon arrival that room service would clean and restock the rooms twice a day. This unfortunately never happened and at times even after being requested would go ignored by the resort staff. Our villa had two restrooms in it. Our living room bathroom worked only about half the time throughout our stay. When we informed staff of this malfunctioning toilet it went ignored for the duration of our trip. Another malfunctioning amenity of our room was the private outdoor bath. Upon our arrival we were informed that they had no warm water for the tub. This tub was a large reason we chose this room. This was a major disappointment. The room, restaurant and pool service was poor and on top of that the staff made no attempt to do anything to acknowledge our honeymoon vacation. We will not return.

Blue Diamond Luxury bed

Beautiful property, awesome staff, room was a Laguna View Suite. Everything was great except the bed was sooooo uncomfortable! We actually could not sleep well at night because of it. Other than that it was a beautiful stay.

very nice hotel, good food, but was disappointed about a small detail: the doors of the patio didn't have any screen, therefore it was impossible to have them opened at night and was stuck with air conditioning. When I go on vacation to the south, I like to have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor.

Beautiful location. Plenty of easy to enjoy exercise or attentive staff to assist with transportation. Had to leave early due to unforseen events but the property and staff were excellent, as was the food. Only wish it was clearer that 24/7 room service has a $20.00 delivery fee majority of the day (free 2300 - 0700). Limited food options than Im used to but delicious food for even those with picky tastes, such as myself. Security was good. Felt more of a jungle than beach vacation eith the lagoon suite.
