First off, I want to say that my vacation in Playa was the best I have ever been on...lol. It is SO fun! The food is fabulous, the bars and clubs are among the best on earth, the locals are super friendly and the beaches are gorgeous. The condo was literally in the perfect location. It's just around the corner from all the action but it's situated in such a way that you can't hear all the comotion. The building has a posh gated entrance that leads into the beautiful pool garden. The condo itself is very open with plenty of closet space, large bathrooms, air conditioning, two balconies and a washer and dryer. I just completed a stay at Playa Ka'an this past weekend. My son and I were very happy with the place, it truly was a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle of Playa del Carmen. Let me start with the reservations. I chose Playa Ka'an for two reasons: Proximity to Quinta Ave & Amenities. Booking this condo was beyond easy, and Tony the owner was very easy to work with. Both Tony and the management company were very communicative and we were fully informed of any nuances, if any. Tony sent me the codes to the gate and the unit a few days before we showed up. Having a keyless entry was great! I loved not having to worry about losing a key or getting locked out. When we arrived, we were able to get into the unit without any issues. As I walked in, I realized that the picture do not do the condo justice. From the moment you walk in, the condo is bright, roomy and very airy. My son and I had tons of room. The AC units blast the place cool within minutes. The kitchen had EVERYTHING you need to cook there. We didn't use the kitchen for that, other than for snack and drink storage. The bedrooms were just as pictured and very roomy. The complex itself is very quiet and the other tenants were very friendly. I loved that the complex has a security guard, 24 hours a day. The complex is literally 1 block away from all the fun, yet far enough to relax from it. The clubs are on the same street from the condo, however at night you don't hear the music blasting from them, which was a big plus to me. My son and I both agreed, next time we return to Playa, we will definitely stay at Playa Ka'an again. We stayed 3 months at Playa Kaan #22\. This condo is in a quiet place and it's very clean. When we arrived the concierge, Salvador, was there to explain the facilities to enjoy our stay. He was there too for departure. During our stay we has 2 little problems and they were fixed inside 30min. We return to this condo next year and we recommand it. Can't Wait to Stay Again! My wife and I have been traveling to Playa del Carmen for many years with our two small kids and we have always loved the town. We had a wonderful 1-month stay at Tony's condo at Playa Kaan. It was by far our favorite thus far. The condo was perfect for our vacation. Plenty of open space, kitchen for making meals/snacks, bright, clean, cozy, and quite. We loved having the private terrace with the view of the pool and gardens. The pool area was great for non-beach days and a quick dip after returning from a day at the beach. The pool was beautiful and crystal clear, well maintained grounds, the management company check on us twice during our stay to make certain everything was perfect. We found the condo to be a perfect location to explore Playa. It was steps away to 5th Avenue and another couple of blocks to the beach. We were a short walk to Mamita's Beach Club. Tony and his rental management company was very helpful during our stay. We could reach them easily via text or phone. They helped set up transportation to and from the airport, made some great recommendations for lunch/dinner. The location was great - a couple of blocks to everything. We could walk everywhere. To 5th Avenue, breakfast, shops, ferry to Cozumel, bus station for trips to Tulum, dinner spots and bars for drinks/music. This is the ideal spot if you want to be near everything. And we really felt at home in the condo. We look forward to booking again next year! ##### Derik M. ---
