"All was excellent "

"Just come back from having a week’s stay at The St Valerie Hotel. Such a wonderful hotel in lush surroundings. Excellent staff, very friendly and very helpful. We had a wonderful room with a balcony with a lovely view of the pool and pretty gardens. The room was a great size with separate w.c. and nice sized bathroom. The breakfast was very nice, with lovely welcoming staff too. The outside pool was just the right size for the hotel. The seating area was very pretty under the trees, where you can get drinks and light refreshments. The hotel is well situated for all the restaurants and the beach area. I would certainly recommend the hotel for a convenient relaxed atmosphere, clean rooms and wonderful staff. Special thanks to Asia, Alina, and Sarah for all their help, and kindness. Also a big thank you to the rest of the staff at St Valarie too. All wonderful."

"Requested €100.00 a day from a credit card to cover any extras which from a supposed 5 star hotel is a complete lack of trust and not welcome."

"The stay was good. Breakfast very good Spa ridiculously overpriced; therefore not used by us Room service excellent but room spoilt by obviously flooding by shower; in fact shower flooded every time it was used and had to use towels to mop up. Whole holiday ended on bad note , we had a 8pm flight and no room could behave a late check out"

"Love the people working in the hotel. There was amazing special Karina. She was a wonderful person. I have a beautiful chat with her talking about cats. It was a nice. It’s like a welcome home. Would love to stay again in this place. Beautiful view from my window love you guys I love the couple working in the lobby too. I forgot their names. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"I stayed with my 2 daughters in the apartments. We had a wonderful stay. All the staff were extremely helpful and our room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The breakfast was very good and the Spa a real treat . Definitely would recommend this hotel for a stay in Antibes."

"Good stay with one important note! The good: the staff was amazing and very kind, the breakfast was filling with gluten free options and good tea, and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Plus, the bathroom has premium toiletries from L’Occitane. The bad: The hotel uses SO much air freshener (automatically-dispensed fragrance) that it’s permanently in all spaces and even in the rooms. If you’re sensitive to smells or fragrances, this is your sign (unfortunately). The fragrance is dispensed automatically in the lobby. We had cover the entrance to the room with a bath mat to try and keep the smell out. The sheets are also cleaned with a fragrance-rich detergent, not the usual fragrance-free (not the usual big chain hotel standard). Lastly, just a little note on amenities. There is no mini fridge, kettle or a coffee machine in the rooms. You can get filtered water from the reception which is great but the lack of other room amenities (that are usually present for this tier of the hotel) made us feel a bit uncomfortable during the stay."

"Staff was rude, aggressive and or incompetent. Advertised roof bar is inexistent, room layout was ridiculous. Location is ok if you like walking, but the distances are quite a bit longer than the info given. Basically run by beginners and quite likely to ruin your day"
