"Apartment was a good size for two adults sharing for a few nights. I don’t think it would suit for a longer stay, with more personal items clothing etc. air conditioning was ok, but it’s a shame the window only opens a small amount as even during chilly spring nights, the room became quite hot. Shower and bathroom were excellent. Major issue though was the bed and how hard the mattress was. Both of us left with sore necks and backs!"

"Hotel very conveniently located to city centre and all it offers, culturally - great museums, sustenance - great restaurants and a lovely walk along the river in the sunshine, also easy walking distance from the station. Room was clean, but a sock was discovered from a previous resident on the desk chair. Bed was comfy, but springs very squeaky. Free breakfast - a wide choice of hot and cold foods. Bananas were very green! Some cutlery and cups unclean. Snacks available from the bar and a comfy lounge to relax in. Staff are friendly and helpful. Even with the issues mentioned, we would return and recommend to others."

"I honestly wasn't expecting such a lovely hotel. Our Air BnB fell through (no heat nor hot water), and I was able to snag a solo room last-minute. Room, staff, dinner, and breakfast were all lovely. Even though a wedding was going on in one of the function rooms, the staff kept churning out superior service. Such a gem. Highly recommend!"

"Simple check in. The room was a perfect space for a relaxed night away. A mini kitchen with everything you need and a table to eat at. The seating area with tv to chill and then a comfy bed and bathroom. Good choice at breakfast. Check out easy. The hotel and room were clean and all staff friendly. Perfect location for the train station. About a 10/15 minute walk. I will stay here again"

"We thought we were going to be staying in the castle but ended up in the garden room. the room was nice but had a very small uncomfortable bed. this should have been explained upon booking and we could have upgraded. The staff and breakfast was excellent!"

"The staff that cleaned the rooms were excellent but the response from the spa manager Ryan leaves a lot to desire we had booked a massage and paid £80 for it explaining that we were only there for 4 nights when we turned up for the massage they could not find any record of the booking when they did finally find the booking it was for a week later the staff explained that the manager had to pass the refund when he finally got in touch with me I got no apology no sorry for the inconvenience this caused as it was for a special gift to my wife’s sister on her birthday and retirement only wanted my bank details for the refund which would take 5-7 days all in all quite a disappointing few days also pool cold and hot tub out of order for our full stay"
