Bed very comfortable. Views from the lounge and patio decking were stunning and the hot tub easy to use and relaxing after a long day in the hills. Easy access to the town by car with a multitude of walks easily accessible and well marked. Warm welcome from our hosts who were readily available throughout our stay has we needed them. Suggestions would include two handtowels for two persons, extra toilet paper as we ran out. Due to the extreme hot weather, a couple chairs at lodge entrance would have been great as this was the only shade outdoors. A parasol would have been good also however we realise the heatwave we experienced isnt the norm for Scotland. Our stay was pretty close to perfect and we enjoyed the hot tub regularly and the secluded position and views were outstanding. The walk back from Pitlochry was tiring and uphill however theres a lovely establishment that we rested and had lunch in at Moulin. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need and about 5-10 mins drive to Pitlochry town centre. Peaceful, cosy & warm aswell as private. Location is great for town centre aswell as many attractions within driving distance. Didn't get use of the BBQ and seating area due to weather but didn't stop us dipping in the new hot tub and retiring in front of the log burner with a wee glass of sparkle. Newly renovated, immaculately clean and very spacious, we had everything we needed and more. Everything has been thought of. Owners were very friendly with great communication. The lodge had been refurbished and was finished to a very good standard. As we walk everywhere the location for us was excellent as we liked the views and peace. The hot tub and decking area is very private and hidden from other lodges. The wood burning stove and central heating ensured that the lodge was warm. The kitchen facilities are well appointed and the shower has good water pressure. A very pleasant place although if you are staying for a week or more the break could become expensive. We will be back next year and are looking forward to it already ---
