"A darling little house within walking distance to the heart of Wimberly. It's like stepping into your grandmother's home for a visit. The location is great, the deer and birds coming to the feeder are fun to watch each morning. It had all the things I appreciate such as, non-scented towels and sheets. Everything you need in the kitchen, ceiling fans in both bedrooms, a thermostat you can control and pods for washing clothes were provided, which is so nice to have when you are traveling. Even some fresh flowers in the master bathroom."

"Lloyd and his wife, we're very hospital. Great visit for just a one night getaway. The room we stayed in was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. We really enjoyed ourselves and wish we could had stayed longer. Rosie and I recommend this place. Thank you Lioyd and your kind wife."

"We had a wonderful stay. The property is older, but beautiful. The owners were very accommodating with our needs. The on sight fresh made breakfast was delicious and part of our room stay. We had a drain issue in the bath tub, and the owner was able to have that fixed quickly. We did not do the dinner or spa services. Overall our stay was wonderful, and we would stay there again."

"They need to update their "check-in" instructions ( we were told the keys opened the wrong door - kept us from being abel to get in for over an hour) and there was a miscommunication with cleaning crew - had not been cleaned when we finally DID get into the house. However, the host was very responsive - in spite of being in Australia - and the cleaners were in and out in about 90 minutes, Another hiccup - the refrigerator switched itself off for some reason. We stashed our cold stuff in it before leaving to let the cleaners do their work, and when we returned, it was OFF. Freezer worked, but fridge not cool. We put stuff back in coolers with ice, and the next morning, the refrigerator was back on, and cold, so - not sure what happened. However, the owner was very accommodating ( called and texted consistently) and we WERE compensated for our trouble, so what was a "rough start" did not keep us from thoroughly enjoying the property. It is very cute, GREAT eclectic decor, beds were very comfortable, bathrooms lovely, kitchen well-appointed - carpets in living area DO need to be shampooed. It was incredibly hot outside, and the "cowboy pool" was pretty warm, but we enjoyed it later, after dark. We did not make use of the hot tub (for obvious reasons), but the yard and hot tub area and front deck are all nice ( although the pool deck could use some stairs to get up on, and the wooden tables and chairs are pretty "weathered"). We had fun, and owners are great - :)"
