The property was in a great secluded location yet still close to the city. The stove & oven did not work properly and there were a ton of ants but we made the best of our stay and loved the home.
Perfect! Wanna get away from every day people traffic noise smog? You want to relax in peace, under the dark Texas sky? Bring your books, wine, music and a telescope. This place is perfect!
No hassle to get into the property, host was ver nice to check we checked in accordingly, will definitely come back again...

The amenities if you mean fireplace, it had burned out firewood, the grill was broken and turned upside down on the ground. The microwave didn’t work, but staff replaced it with a new one. There were only three spoons, one knife, but a ton of forks. There weren’t many pots to cook more than one thing in. We had to cook noodles then place them in the oven, then cook our sauce in the same pot. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were awful. I had a hard time sleeping all three nights we were there. I left my hat there and they wanted to charge me $40 to ship it (not including shipping fee) so I left it. There needed to be more chairs for a place that can sleep 6 — there were only 2 inside chairs but about 6 outdoor chairs. There is a dryer but not a washing machine. The fridge door got stuck open several times. We got the bungalow experience but at such a high cost. We will not go back to this place. We did like the close proximity to San Marcos and Wimberley shopping. It was quiet so we weren’t bothered by any loud noises. We wanted a place to get away from typical neighborhoods and city life.
Great stay for big group! Easy check-in and check-out this would be my go to stay every visit!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and relaxing. The Bungalow cottage is cozy and well put together. 🙂 I recommend it to anyone wanting to get away for a few days from the busy, fast paced city life.
I very much enjoyed my stay. The location and scenery are beautiful. Although close to San Marcos it feels like you are a million miles away. The check in and check out could not be easier. I am already looking forward to my next stay.
Really liked the quietness of the area. Quaint and cozy. I personally liked the comfortable bed and feeling of being out in a cabin.

The property is really difficult to get to. Directions are not good. The porch and outside sitting areas qere not clean or suitable for enjoying being outside in the hill country. The inside was clean. However there was some offensive propaganda strategically placed around the house. Wimberly was close by so were the shops at the San Marcos outlet mall
