"You feel like you're visiting a friend's summer house, relaxed and cozy. No frills, very chill. I was a little concerned of street noise being in the center of town but super quiet and all the other guests were well mannered. Loved the accessible "caffeine depot" as I had some jetlag."

"Relaxing outdoors in the shaded, cushioned chairs (shaped like coconuts!) was a highlight! I hung out in the ocean breeze, reading and listening to the sounds of the ocean for a while:) it was fantastic!"

"My stay at Hana-Maui Resort was unforgettable. The room was incredible with an ocean view, and the private bungalows made it feel so peaceful and secluded. The robes they provided were amazing—such a small detail that made a big difference. Every single staff member was exceptional, especially the receptionist. We called ahead to let them know we’d be arriving late (around 10pm), and she was so kind and professional. After the call, she even called us back just to make sure we grabbed food before leaving the city since everything would be closed when we arrived. When we got there, she was just as warm and helpful in person. The property itself is stunning—beautiful views, gorgeous walking paths, and two 24-hour pools. We didn’t try the spa or restaurants, but everything else exceeded our expectations. Truly worth every penny—I would absolutely stay here again."

"Parking was easy and secure. The kitchen had everything we needed and what it didn’t have we were able to get from the staff. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. However, this resort does not have an activities director. I tried to bring my nine-year-old grandson with me to yoga and was told he could not participate. The only thing they offer is yoga Monday through Friday and Aqua Zumba twice a week and there is no spa on this property. While Maui has always been a destination, I was disappointed in this property. It had been a property I had been trying to get into for several years. Once again, the staff was excellent property is well-maintained and everything was beautiful "
