You can have breakfast and supper - both excellent - and the hosts are extremely hospitable and helpful. We arrived with a flat tire, and Gys helped us get a new car the next morning. This was our second stay in a matter of weeks as we needed a low cost place to sleep in PZB. This time we were assigned the ‘Kingfisher’ room which is nice, but the ‘Sparrow’ was much nicer. The shower in Kingfisher was in need of renovation as the tiles were misaligned and the shower head was not the modern rain style which we experienced in Sparrow. During our stay unfortunately there was a major thunderstorm and all power in the area was out for 4 hours, but each room had a decent battery...

Thank you to Ken & Monica the owners of Lincoln Cottages for the excellent service. They went out of their way to make sure our stay at their Cottage was a pleasant one. We arrived very late the evening and it was my sons birthday the next day and I forgot to get candles for his cake and I phoned them and ask is there any shop that is still open, so that I can go and buy candles. They said I need not to worry and about getting candles, they will supply me with candles the next morning with our...

Room clean, comfortable and good value for money. Lovely to see zebra, wilderbeast and kudu roaming in the large grounds outside the room. Restaurant, including breakfast, was great. Well located for Nelson Mandela capture sight on the 'Midlands Meander' and not too far away for a day out in Durban.

Only downside is size of pool.
