We had a great experience at Rachael’s home. She takes very good care of you and you will get a more authentic Italian experience staying with her. Her house is extremely clean and well kept and we enjoyed her breakfast in the morning.

Dream stay at Casa Rachele
We had the best stay at Casa Rachele! Rachele was brilliant; very attentive and helpful, great communication and just a lovely person. The house was very clean; bedroom, bathroom and main communal area, and there is everything you need. Piano di Sorrento is 2 stops away from Sorrento (€1.30) and trains run frequently. They also run to Pompei and Naples very frequently. The area itself is less touristy, which we loved, more of an authentic experience. There are some lovely spots to eat and Rachele suggested many things to do during our stay, plus prices and the best options. We explored Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompei - all very easy day trips from this location. Thank you for your hospitality, Rachele. We hope to be back! Tara

Excellent choice for Sorrento
I originally chose to stay at Casa Rachele because of the low rates vs. central Sorrento but soon discovered that there are even better reasons to stay here. Piano is authentically Italian with great restaurants, shops, and a good laundromat. Sorrento is indeed a beautiful city but is tourist-oriented and most of the people you will see there are tourists, whereas Piano gives a real Italian small town experience where almost everyone you encounter is a local. Rachele is an excellent hostess who keeps a clean and spacious B&B in a very good apartment building. She is a lifelong resident who is very helpful in advising on what to do in the area and has good tips on various tours and sites, as well as the restaurants in Piano. Breakfast is typically Italian and excellent. My room was quite comfortable and quiet and provided a wonderful view. Wifi was at least as fast and reliable as anywhere else I have stayed in Europe. The bathroom was large by European standards with a full bathtub/shower instead of the usual tiny shower most places have. The train station was less than 10 minutes walk away with trains leaving every half-hour and taking less than 5 minutes to get to Sorrento. The cost is 1.3 euros one way. You can also take a bus that travels along the main street in Piano, Corso Italia, which eventually also becomes the main street of Sorrento. Casa Rachele is very highly recommended.

Good Place To Stay
Very clean, and close to the train station which will get you access to Sorrento or the other direction towards Pompei and Naples. Very kind and gracious host. I would highly recommend if you don't mind being outside of Sorrento.

We will definitely stay here again!
Our stay with Rachele was incredible! Her hospitality towards us was outstanding! staying at casa Rachele was a much needed change of pace compared to skipping from hotel to hotel. Rachele opened her home to us and took the time to share her expert knowledge of the area which made for a much more personal and authentic experience. I highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for casual atmosphere with an amazing host! If you need to know anything, just ask Rachele!

Rachele of Casa Rachele was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for her she gave great advice on where to park at a reduced price (we drove from Roma but found it easier to travel the local area by train) and also had maps directions and advice on using transport to places such as Sorrento in 5 minutes by train and Pompeii in 25 minutes at the entrance by train. We have no reservations in reccommending Casa Rachele for someone wanting the genuine Southern Italian local experience especially as Casa Rachele is just a stroll to the Piazza and 5 minutes walk to the train. The 4.8 rating is thoroughly deserved.

A trip to remember!
We spent five lovely nights in this B&B. Rachael is very kind and accomodating. Her apartment is spotlessly clean and the room was large and spacious. Rachael is very chatty and friendly and I really enjoyed my stay in Piano.

Good base for exploring Sorrento and beyond
We enjoyed our stay at Casa Rachele. It is a perfect location for exploring what the Bay of Naples has to offer (Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius, Naples, Capri, etc). Good quality accommodation with a nice host, Rachele, who is very helpful with advice on what to see, how to get there, where to eat, etc. We would highly recommend.

Wonderful B&B and an even better hostess
My wife and I ended our 3 week honeymoon with a few days stay in Rachele's lovely home. While none of our other hotel stays were bad, our time at Rachele's was easily the highlight. Rachele is sweet and caring about her guests. As soon as we walked in she went out of her way to give us an introduction of the area and her own advice regarding how we should structure our days. If Rachele recommends it, then GO. Every food place that she recommended was fantastic. Really appreciate the hospitality, thanks again

Very knowledgeable and caring host
My fiancée and I are travelers from Canada and stayed here for 5 nights in a private room and shared bathroom. Rachele is the sweetest host you can ask for! The place is kept absolutely spotless and neat. When we arrived, Rachele sat with us and spoke about the things we could see in Sorrento, as well as the other places we planned to visit, such as the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Pompeii. Rachele provided us with sample tickets that we would need to purchase to use the local transit as well as brochures and other things to read about the various attractions. She also has excellent recommendations for restaurants in Piano. At breakfast, she serves hot croissants and delicious cappuccinos! She also includes yogurt and orange juice. She will ask for your preferred time for breakfast. On the morning that we had to leave, Rachele provided us with cappuccinos and take-away croissants. She also advised us that in Piano, there is a direct bus to the Naples Airport for only 10 Euros. Rachele is very informative, and loves to chat with her guests. She provides wonderful service, and welcomes you in to the house. Rachele really made our stay great and with her advice, we had a fantastic time in Piano and the surrounding area. We would love to stay here again!

Great Location in a Lovely Town
Fantastic location in a wonderful little town, close to restaurants, shopping, groceries, whatever you need. Extremely clean room, with an extremely attentive land lady Rachelle. Only knock is the shared bathroom, but that was manageable. Overall, good value for the money.

It is a great location. Easy access to Sorrento. It is not in Sorrento. It is located in Piano, two stations away from Sorrento where you you get to Amalfi and Positano. Pompeii is also a few train stations away.Rachele is very helpful.She also help plan my trip. The acccomodation is very clean and tidy and located in a quiet location.It takes approximately an hour from Napoli train station to Piano.

Lovely B&B
I'd stayed with Rachel in mid-June and it was a wonderful experience. Her house is beautifully decorated and I especially enjoyed her seafood restaurant recommendation that was in the plaza right next to the flat. At first I had my reservations before I had booked, because it was located in Piano in Sorrento rather than Sorrento, however it wasn't a problem at all! Piano had many circumvesuviana trains running, I think about 3-4 an hour through Piano. It was very easy to visit the historical sights such as Pompeii and Herculaneum, and it was easy to travel to Sorrento too. During our stay we also went to Amalfi and did the God's walk. It's easy to find the b&b and it is literally 5 mins walk from the Piano di Sorrento circumvesuviana stop, perfect if you're planning to use public transport for your stay. we absolutely loved it and would definitely go back :)

Comfortable, clean and convenient
Very comfortable b&b with air conditioning and a tasty traditional Italian breakfast. The owner is extremely friendly, and takes pride in her business--meaning that she makes sure her guests are happy and that the rooms and shared bathroom is always clean. In addition she provides guests with information and maps of all the surrounding sights. It is in a convenient location, close to Sorrento but outside the constant stream of tourists. It definitely a wonderful stay!

A wonderful Bed and Breakfast with a perfect host.
We are travellers from New Zealand. Arriving at our accommodation we were welcomed at the door by Rachele. While enjoying a coffee Rachele gave us brochures and information on everything we may need for our stay. Our room was private, cosy and quiet and the bathroom kept spotless at all times. Breakfast was different each day with special pastries and homemade preserves. Rachele is a very warm person who is happy to assist with anything to help her guests. Her home is kept lovely and her guests are her priority. We had a wonderful stay here for a week and would stay here again. This is the perfect place for a relaxing, quiet and enjoyable stay. We would give Casa Rachele 10/10 :)

좋아요
숙소는 소렌토가 아니라 피아노 디 소렌토입니다. 지하철로 2정거장정도 가야하는 다른 지역이에요. 헷갈리지 않으셨으면 좋겠습니다. 그럼에도 역 자체랑은 가까워서 위치는 좋아요. 상당히 깨끗하고 잘 정리되어 있었습니다. 주인분께서 많은 것을 도와주고 알려주시려고 노력하십니다. 아침 일찍 나가느라 조식을 못 먹고 나가는 시간이었는데, 빵도 챙겨주시고 친절하셨어요 :)

Wonderful time with Rachele
Dear Rachele, Sorry it took me a while to write this review, things were quite hectic when we got back home. It was lucky of us, to be able to spend three days in your place, Piano is a lovely small town, we really did enjoy our time here. I guess I could understand why you would like to stay here for the rest of your life even after you'd lived in the big metropolitan cities in the country. Anyways, I should probably share some informative stuff with Rachele's potential guests. So basically you would be staying in the same apartment with the host, and some other guest from another room.(Oh Rachele, how nice of you, to have prepared the room with sea view for us!) The place is quiet, except when there's music playing out loud on the street, or firework from wedding in a big hotel nearby( which both happened during our stay) Luckily, the house got some very nice and secured windows,we were sound asleep with them closed, and those blinds are amazing too, I am a light sensitive person and couldn't sleep well with any light on, and I slept very well during my stay. At the last morning we had breakfast at the apartment, Rachele got us the dolce we like.Just remember to respect each other and talk talk talk, do ask your host for tourist's info.She would be happy to share with you!(and also send you to a grocery store nearby for amazing and cheap sandwich) Rachel, if you ever happend to come to Hong Kong, please contact us,we'd be thrilled to show you around.

Buena ubicación en Piano
Esta ubicado en pleno centro de Piano di Sorrento, a tres cuadras de la estación del circunvesuviano, con el cual se llega a Sorrento en 4 minutos. Raquele, su dueña, una persona muy amable y muy buena anfitriona, estuvo atenta a todos los detalles y más, como también nos brindó mucha información turística.

Topverblijf nabij Sorrento
Bij Rachele ben je geen klant, maar ben je een gast. Ze verwelkomt je in haar huis met een fris drankje en legt met veel geduld alles uit wat je wil weten. Ze geeft je gidsen en kaarten mee wanneer je een stad wil bezoeken. Piano ligt op slechts 5 minuten van Sorrento, maar het is een veel rustigere en minder toeristische omgeving. Bij Rachele voel je je thuis en aangenaam, en dat is alles dat je kan wensen voor een vakantieverblijf.

Great B&B in a good location
Very nice B&B really close to the railway station of Piano di Sorrento. We stayed 2 nights and it was really easy to get around and visit Sorrento, Capri and the Costiera Amalfitana. Sig.ra Rachele is really helpful and friendly. The house is clean and tidy. Just outside there are shops and nice restaurants that are not too touristic so not expensive.

b&b nel vero senso della parola, appartamento assolutamente accogliente, la signora Rachele è veramente ospitale, gentile e professionale. L'appartamento è ben tenuto. Abbiamo trovato ottime le condizioni della stanza sopratutto calda e il materasso ottimo. Un altro punto a favore: la posizione centrale. Qualità prezzo senza paragoni. Un saluto alla signora Rachele.
