Vi endte opp med å spise den ute, med unntak av første dagen. Rawai strand er flott, men ikke egnet for bading - 5 min gange fra hotellet. We found a Orbitz deal that brought us to Rawai Grand House. The Grand House is a selection of Villas from 1 to 3 bedroom. They were very clean and nice. The place could use a little up keep. We were told that the hotel is in patong. It is quite far. We asked for a refund and were told by fon that a refund was possible if Expedia agreed. While on the phone with Expedia, she calls her manager, who says "no refund". She would not let me speak to a manager, since she was on holiday until Monday (same person she just spoke to!). Expedia agents tried and tried and they would not budge.... saying it's a holiday weekend (there were only about four or five couples seen). We decided to lose money and leave. All we needed was a taxi. The taxi took 35 min to come, tried overcharging, and kicked us out. Interestingly enough, when we asked for another taxi, she contacted the same driver. That driver never showed.
