De kamers zijn mooi en ruim en worden elke dag fantastisch goed schoongemaakt. We hebben enkel gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad op de 3de verdieping omdat we een kamer aan het zwembad hadden. We hebben daar wel erg van genoten. We vonden dat de kussens aan de poolbar wel dringend aan vernieuwing toe waren. Voor de rest was de bar wel leuk ingericht. Dit in tegenstelling tot het restaurant, dat we zeer ongezellig vonden. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid, maar eerder matig voor een 4sterren hotel. Het eierstation was goed en de noodlebar ook, maar wat de warme gerechten betreft was het buffet vooral gericht op Indische klanten en mensen die geen varkensvlees eten. Wel verdient het personeel van het ontbijtbuffet een extra pluim voor hun ongelooflijke inspanningen om het ons naar de zin te maken. Vooral khun Tong en de chef waren fantastisch. Het restaurant ‘s avonds hebben we niet geprobeerd omdat we het niet gezellig vonden en er op wandelafstand tientallen leuke restaurantjes lagen. De ligging was voor ons ideaal, wel een eindje van het strand, maar dichtbij Jungceylon, Central en Bangla. Hoewel Patong heel lawaaierig is, vonden we in het hotel rust en stilte omdat het in een klein doodlopend zijstraatje ligt.

Andakira Hotel is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I could not bear the constant odor from untreated sewage while staying in my room, and having breakfast at the cafeteria. On the first morning, I even had to jump over a large puddle of water in the hallway outside my room. Moreover, the view from my room was such an eyesore. I was looking at a garbage dump and abandoned buildings the whole time. I kindly asked for a refund after the first night, as my stay was uncomfortable. However, after Expedia contacted them several times on my behalf, they still refused to grant me a refund. Do yourself a favor and book a nicer hotel if you want a pleasant stay in Patong. That's exactly what I did. My only regret was choosing Andakira Hotel in the beginning.

The grand deluxe suite was spacious , clean , and serviced on time with 2 tvs and apps like netflix and youtube. We loved the hotel and their friendly staff and the great location. Breakfast was also tasty, thanks to the full team at Andakira

Room was good, very quiet. Housekeeping was excellent everyday, always tip your housekeeper. Breakfast had a large variety with dishes on rotation so breakfast at 7am could be different food to breakfast at 10am.

Spacious room, breakfast was great (good options and fresh), clean room, perfect location, staff we interacted with were all nice and helpful. Quality housekeeping. Despite the cons below I would still stay here again and it was worth it overall. Cons -issue with shower drainage, had to call engineer to sort. -we had pool access room, but pool was so cold we never used it -gym had decent equipment but where it is located is randomly in the hallway in front of lifts...open space area

Property is great , also location wise patong beach at walkable distance . Only downside I found is front desk staff behaviour is not that good . They follow strict rules . I came at 1.30 PM and they told me to wait till 2 PM for check-in. 2000 TBH deposite is first time I saw in any hotel requesting. 100 TBH just to use Microwave owen . Fixed number of water bottles . 1 500ml bottle per person per day is less.
