We very much enjoyed our stay at the Adult only Sensimar Hotel. The room was clean & the towels were changed every other day. The breakfast was delicious. The staff are all friendly & always willing to help. Swimming pools cleaned every day. Location of the hotel is great. They are many restaurants nearby, all within walking distance.

Excellent hotel with a very nice pool - the happy hour cocktails in the swim up pool bar were great value. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. Having paid for a bay room we were a bit disappointed with the view (room 210) as it looked out onto a wall with a very narrow view of a small pool behind the building. The location is ideal - very close to the beach and the main road - in walking distance to the market, restaurants and bars.

Just returned from an amazing stay at Moracea. The staff couldn't have been more helpful from changing beach towels whenever we requested on an evening to ringing restaurants to find out if they had availability for us. The hotel itself is very quaint yet modem and even in the Jasmine rooms you are super close to the sea. Breakfast was very varied and we looked forward to this every day. Khao Lak itself has heaps to offer from superb restaurants for dirt cheap prices to great trips to islands...

Nice buildings with well designed rooms. Nice view from the main restaurant to the beach. Beautiful, large swimming pool. Chairs around the swimming pool, under the pine trees and on the beach. Very quiet beach. A few hundred meters away local restaurants, bars and massage shops on the beach and a few other hotels. Beachbar at the hotel. Good food and great breakfast. The hotel is approx. 12 km north of Khao Lak. Taxi cost 300 Bath one way.

We arrived late to a very courteous and efficient check in at the Apsara; opened the door to a fantastic sea front room, which was all the more appreciated when we opened the curtains in the morning to find the beach right under our nose. Absolutely wonderful stay, in a really nice part of Thailand which is recovering so well after the devastation of 2004. Great stay staff are amazing as is the beach and location

This was our second time in Khao Lak but the first at the Laguna Resort. We found the hotel excellent and very accommodating. Had booked through Expedia and within days if the booking I realised I had booked the wrong room. I contacted Expedia to change it. They got back to me to say I could change the room when I got there. Unfortunately there was no record of this call and the hotel was fully booked. Stayed for 12 nights in April 2015, the hotel is beautiful and definately value for money. The breakfast buffet is great, pleanty of choice and has everything. We ate in Platoo on the beach almost every day, great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Also Pim's Cafe which is round the corner from the main entrance, fantastic food and service..always fresh food.

Loved our stay here! The property is very nice, simple but comfortable, with great views and a nice pool. Breakfast was a treat. Suppasin the manager was amazing, he helped arrange all of our transport and day trips, and provided information about the island.
