"Comfortable hotel. Not easily accessible for those with mobility problems. Parking is an issue. But the hotel itself is very nice. Breakfasts are good. The restaurant offers good options for dinner. Nice bar. The pool is fantastic, the garden is lovely, and there are great walking possibilities. Some rooms have cosy balconies, but try to avoid loud weddings. "

"Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!"
