    The chalet is located near the base of Nubs Nob and is across the street from Boyne Highlands Ski & Golf Resort. (driveway is located right after entrance / sign for Nubs Nob Ski Resort) The chalet is also situated near two world class downtowns; Harbor Springs and Petoskey.

    The chalet is an exceptional A-frame wood home that sleeps 14 in Hidden Hamlet of Harbor Springs. It is close to area golf courses, Petoskey State Park Beach, and Downtown Harbor Springs. The North Country Trail is within a short walking distance and is popular for biking and hiking. Lake Michigan, as well as numerous small lakes, is easily accessible for boating, kayaking, bathing, and fishing. Mushrooms are ready for picking, and spring blossoms are abundant showcased by lush fruit trees and carpets of Trillium. There is a huge deck with a BBQ grill for outdoor meals. The backyard is great for outdoor games. This chalet offers all the ingredients for a great outdoor up-north vacation!

    The chalet features an open floor plan on three levels. The top level features a master queen bedroom with a view of Nubs Nob. The master bedroom has an attached master bathroom for maximum comfort and privacy. The top level also has a cozy balcony perfect for enjoying a book.

    The main level is exquisite. Two bedrooms with queen beds and a large bathroom are located on this level. The open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room are also on this main level. The kitchen is equipped with new stainless appliances, and a commercial grade gas range with convection oven. The living room has a gas fireplace with a 60” LED TV. The kitchen, living room and dining area opens to a large wrap-around deck that faces Boyne Highlands. The deck also features a hot tub that is available for your enjoyment. An oversized two car garage provides indoor parking.

    The basement level offers two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a recreation room. One bedroom has a queen bed and bunk beds; and the other bedroom has two sets of bunk beds. The recreation room features a 55” LCD TV, Blueray/DVD player, Nintendo Wii, Foosball, Bubble Hockey, library and plenty of games and puzzles.

Great place!

This was our third time staying here and it was great as always. Plenty of room for our big family. The kids loved the bunk room and Wii. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after skiing. Can’t beat the location for access to Nubs and Boyne. Already booked again for next year!

Great home, open kitchen and living room, plenty of space in the basement for extra guests. Stove didn’t heat up and owner was responsive. We rented again for our weekend ski vacation. Perfect for Nubs Knob skiing!

This is a large, clean, and well equipped home. We had plenty of room for 2 families, 9 total people. There were games and a ping pong table for the kids, a hot tub to be enjoyed by all, and a good sized backyard. Plenty of space to eat/play games together or to spread out and have some privacy. Close to both Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Check in/out was easy. All in all, one of the nicest rentals we’ve booked.

Great Location!

This was our second time at this property and we all loved it. House is roomy and clean, hot tub was amazing at the end of the day. Location to Nubs and Boyne can’t be beat. Already booked again for next year. Only problem was the oven did not work, we let the mgr know and made due with the outside grill. Everything else was great! Looking forward to next year.

Perfect For A Ski Getaway

This is a great place to stay for a Nubs/Highlands ski trip for multiple families with kids of varying ages. There is ample seating for both dining and relaxing. The bedrooms are generously sized with drawers and closets to unpack your belongings. The kitchen is adequately stocked. The basement with it's own large TV, Wii, foosball, bubble hockey, sectional sofa, bar top table, 2 BR and a full bath is GREAT to give the kids their own space to spread out and be loud. Lastly, the hot tub to loosen up and warm up after skiing open to close is the perfect cherry on top. We will definitely look to stay again.

Excellent Choice

We would highly recommend this property for a ski trip. We had 2 families….4 adults and 7 young adults. We had plenty of room! The house was clean, well equipped and perfect for our ski trip. The hot tub and gas fireplace were def a bonus after skiing all day. The slopes are close by. We ski’d Nubs Nob and The Highlands. Our group preferred Nubs Nob. Craig, the owner, was very accommodating and had excellent communication. We highly recommend staying here!

Well located chateau sleeps 14

This is our second stay at this property and we will probably stay again! It is nice to stay in a home that sleeps the 14 of us comfortably. The accommodations include 4 equally nice rooms for the adults and a bunk room / playroom for the kiddos with their own tv, hockey, foosball, games and books. It’s a kids paradise! The main floor has a good sized great room, well equipped kitchen , large dining area and big deck with a built- in hot tub. There is a large yard surrounded by pine trees. It’s location was great for us- between Petoskey and Harbor Springs and only about 40 minutes to the Mackinac bridge. We enjoyed both cities and especially enjoyed the Petoskey State Park with its beautiful beach and Mackinac Island as well as just hanging out at the house.
