First time at the hotel really friendly feel about the place - staff excellent- rooms comfortable and clean very quiet and you feel like your staying in someone’s home , it’s that nice

This is a lovely privately owned and managed hotel. All so very English. We had a great time and have recommended this hotel to several friends already.

The BnB was charming, comfortable and ideally located for my work needs, which is unusual around Petersfield - breakfast was delicious and I was even able to check in 45 minutes early. A lovely stay

Malcolm gave us the most amazing welcome, organised our wonderful meal and breakfast; I’ve stayed in many places and the service, courtesy and welcome are up there with the best. Highly recommend

Had a fabulous stay at this gorgeous traditional inn. Rooms are beautiful, spacious and clean, with good amenities, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, and complimentary items in the fridge and bathroom. Service from staff was wonderful and friendly, and the included breakfast is amazing. Location is exceptional, right on the square opposite the cathedral, with easy access to the high street and the train station. I loved my stay, and definitely hope to stay again. Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! Easy quick check-in. Room average size with good size bed. Bathroom good, tea/coffee facilities excellent. Steak meal was excellent.

Pleasant, clean , friendly hotel. Ideally situated for Portsmouth and Havant.

Beautiful hotel, recently renovated which means they have state of the showers, beautiful throws and proper duvets, spotless white gorgeous bedding, fantastic decor throughout the hotel. The rooms are separated slightly from the fullers pub with a separate entrance. The breakfast was fabulous where you can order from a menu and food is made to order and fresh, included full English breakfast, eggs florentine, pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, porridge with fresh fruit. Beautiful setting and lovely staff. Back garden (where the fish are) was lovely, so peaceful, pretty and relaxing. The gardens generally were beautiful. Hotel room was lovely but could have had a fridge and also should really have access to SKY and International TV channels (This - for a hotel of this quality - really should be standard). In the summer, the local walks and access to nearby beaches means there is plenty of leisure and outdoor activity; for the winter period however, it would be...
