"Well presented accommodation within 5 minute walk of town centre. Despite the hotel being busy, it was very peaceful. Breakfast was very busy, with so many residents arriving at the same time (09:00), but staff coped very well and the buffet trays were kept filled. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely use this hotel again. One improvement would be the addition of a bar. It currently has a licensed restaurant."

"Lovely comfortable and clean rooms. The breakfast was great and the staff were all really friendly, informative and welcoming. Feel it is a little overpriced but Pitlochry itself is pretty pricey. It is a steep walk back up the hill from Pitlochry if you have walking difficulties. We would probably stay again though. "

"The property is a bit old but clean and economical. Free breakfast is a plus. The things I did not like were: the shared toilet located across the room even though I booked an ensuite one - called and messaged the owner but no response; only 1 hanger available for our jackets, and the motion-activated light in the toilet automatically shuts off so I was having a shower in the dark lol"

"Very central for the city , very warm from David at the town house . Beautiful room well equipped and spacious. Some high end touches with quality tea & coffee. "Located on the second floor of the restaurant, the room was spacious, but furniture and carpet show signs of ware. Bed was a double with adequate level bedding. The sink and shower were slow to drain, but water pressure was great. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The value for what I got was decent because it included breakfast in the morning. "

"Glenkilrie house is in a superb location and if you catch it on a clear night the stargazing is amazing. The accommodation is cosy and there is a communal lounge with a TV for all to enjoy, there is also a visitors book in this room which has collected comments from people all across the globe! Morag is a lovely host and cooks a great breakfast! The breakfast is generous and broad enough to cater to everyones preferences. "Beautiful, quiet location. This is not overcrowded, there is plenty of space and the facilities are clean. The site is well thought out. The pods are below a small hill/cragg, with lots of wildlife. Deers can be seen along the ridge line during the evening. Plenty of walks nearby and further a field. Highly recommend."
