Spotlessly clean hotel, attentive staff nothing is a problem. Room fine, A/C and ceiling fan , TV which you can access Prime and Netflix if you have an account. Wet room shower with plenty of hot water, some rooms have balconies, so check when booking.Complimentary breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Hotel located on the beach, beach is worked by the local fishermen upto about 11:00 most days, very little hassle from beach hawker’s. Four or five restaurants within easy walking, loads more a tuk- tuk away. Mixed nationality guests including Indian . Many guests have been returning for many years , understandable. Experienced manager on duty every day with very capable staff in attendance. A most enjoyable stay

We went for this place to enjoy the beach, beach resort - this was a wellness spa and the beach is messed up with port construction- a massive part of the beach is gone. They need to make people aware of this, I would not recommend this as a beach resort - it is a wellness resort - the fact that it is on the beach is just - wrong advertising. I would like my money back based on inaccessible beach. Rest of the resort amenities are good. The SPA is amazing. Food is good and the staff are super polite.

Staffs are so cooperative

A couple of years ago we stayed at the gokulam resort in kumarakom, and had a great experience and so we booked this gokulam for a stay with extended family going off that experience, however this was not even close, this definitely does not classify as a 5 star resort, during our 2 day stay the AC constantly turned off in all our rooms and lead to water pooling on the floors, they had one small pool with no beach access and it does not qualify as an infinity pool as seen in pictures, a restaurant which was at best mediocre let alone a 5 star experience. Overall the resort was pretty old and not modified or renovated in a long time. The worst of all was that since we were traveling for a while before we got there we had some laundry that needed done, the laundry bill after we got it back was 10k, I'm talking about maybe 25-30 pieces of clothing most of which were off a toddler and infant, they charged Rs.50 for washing a handkerchief and Rs.60 for a pair of socks, I mean can we be realistic who pays more for laundry that the actual price of an item. The staff did nothing to rectify this even when noted. Absolutely disappointed by this experience and needless to say we won't be returning or recommending to anyone.
